This cozy restaurant is a nice place to have your lunch in between all the physical acitivities in the valley. Prices are reasonable, and the food is like your granny could have cooked it. The mushroom soup is tasteful and plentiful (and comes with a...lot of bread) - and the roast pork is excellent, perfectly tender and juicy. If you fancy a beer, go for Union. My wife and I had a long day including a bike ride from Luce and then a hike to the Slap Rinka. Saw this little gem on the way back and stopped for a drink and some traditional Struklji. We sat down at the last...available table full with plates and glasses from the previous guest and waited, but nobody came. Finally my wife went inside to oder. Then we waited for our Radler for 10 minutes. The waitress brought out the waiter but didn't clear the table. After 40 minutes and no dessert, I went in to complain. The waitress said our oder was being made. Finally another waitress came outside and cleared our table and asked if we'd like to order. I explained that we had already done so. After 1 hour and still no dessert I went inside to cancel our order. Our waitress had no idea what we had order and apologized in a not-so-friendly manner after I explained our situation. The food looked delicious but the service was horrible.More
Amazing food with great prices. Traditional, very fresh with local ingredients. We had the cottage cheese struklji with blueberries-so good. Will definitely come back.
My husband and I happened upon this place as we explored the Logar valley. We stopped for lunch and had their sweet struklji with blueberries and cream. It was delicious. We found out after, that it had been a small Partisan Hospital during the war...but...has since been remodeled.More
After a long walk to the waterfall we were looking for a nice place to eat. Disappointment. The food was really mediocre (and we normally tend to like local traditional food). Service was minimalistic; And not a word in English in such a central national...site... Pity.More
We stop at this location, during our trip to Rinka waterfall. All I need to say is -> really terrible staff. We come to the establishment and already at the beginning we heard some comments regarding our small baby. They thought we don’t know Slovene,...but Ha jokes on them. They thought we will change our child on the table, but we just put some of her staff on it. We confront them, because I really don’t like people who talk behind your back and they were like...ooo we didn’t know you understand us...really!? Thumbs up, goes to one person only. Who clearly isn’t comfortable working with them old hags. Also she apologise for the behaviour, but the damage was already done.More
An excellent location in the nature of the Logarska valley with a view of the mountains while enjoying excellent homemade food. The only problem - crowded so you have to wait for a spot on the terrace.
With its location in the Logarska dolina Planšarija is a very nice place to visit with a beautiful view. They serve traditional slovenian food (gobova juha, ajdovi žganci, telečja obara, golaž, štruklji, jabolčni zavitek) that tastes really good. There is also a small playground for...kids. Only thing I was missing is some shadow for the outside tables.More
Good position, nice building for Alpine area and fine promotion. Problem during the winter is - it is reserved for special groups and you need to proceed to the next inn to find food. They kindly offer some drinks but hungry people need to call...and reserve in advance.More
We had a nice trip to Logarska dolina. During te walk in the beautiful valley we stopped in Planšarija Logarski kot. We ordered cheese štruklji with forest fruits. A big portion, very tasty. Also a beautiful location and nice staff. You really must stop there.
Beautiful mountain house. Beautiful flowers.It has an exterior terrace with a beautiful view. The food is neat and the food is very tasty, priced acceptable. Good end free wi fi.
We stopped here several times during our stay in Logar Valley and for sure we will miss this tasty prepared local food - in the cold days you can enjoy it next to warm fire place and in the summer you can enjoy it outside...with great view of the Alps. Outside there is also a playground for children and a lot of space to play. We loved the amazing mushroom soup with buckwheat spoonbread.More
If you like mountain peaks, the location can't be beat! The food was wonderful! We had mushroom soup, fresh bread, a super cheese plate, ribs and sauerkraut, all locally sourced and homemade. Forest strudel for dessert. The fireplace was burning logs. There's homemade jams and...marmalade as well as dried forest herbs made into tea. If you are in the valley, this is the place to stop for lunch or supper. Service was super! We'll be back for the food, the views, the hiking.More
We had a great time on this restaurant. Amazing mushroom soup and delicious gulash with fresh bread. The white wine was great as well. The menu is quite limited and there is no kids dishes, nonetheless we highly recommend it.
great view.. full space for parking... and delicious local food.. I enjoyed my meals and local drink...
