Just sat down for a drink ... in the end we stayed to eat , mainly because the plates they were serving around us looked so delicious. We did well , had plates full of grilled king prawns , mussels and sardines. Desserts were just as good. Happy customers! Will be back! Cheers

Me and my parents had a wonderful lunch at el Caleton on the Easter Day. Fresh fish, extremely friendly staff, amazing views of the natural swimming pools and a lovely desert. What else?:)

Near our hotel with a nice view over the water and the natural pools of Garachico. Delicious meals, small as well as larger. Friendly personel.

We had made our way to Garachico to see the rock pools and decided to grab a bite to eat while we were there. We decided on El Caleton purely due to the location and the beautiful views it afforded. Not very hungry, we decided to split some appetizers. Everything we ordered was tasty, and averagely priced. Service was good,... More

Five of us stopped in for lunch and we're delighted by the meal we had. First of all, the waitstaff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Several speak Italian, which was nice for us. The wreck fish was delicious and moist and accompanied with papas canaries. The octopus and red peppers was fork tender. The seafood soup and... More

We've eaten here for 3/6 lunches in Garachico. We stumbled upon it in the first place because it was right outside our hotel, but the fish and seafood was so fresh and delicious that we kept coming back. It's nothing fancy at all, but the fish is truly some of the freshest I've had. The waiters are always friendly, and... More

We visited El Caleton by chance as we wandered around Garachico. We found the food to be excellent and the service was extremely good. The waiter went out of his way to make our experience extremely pleasant! Thank you very much!

We visited in December for lunch. The pools were too rough to jump in but we enjoyed our late lunch with a few tapas style dishes. We had a salad, canarian potatoes and a cheese dish. Food was lovely and well presented.

You would expect a clean restaurant with a killer view over the water would fit the 2 normal maxims: Overpriced and bad to mediocre food. Neither was the case at El Caleton. We ordered too much: Calamares alla plancha, queso asado (a wonderful baked cheese dish) and pulpo vinagrette (octopus). Presentation and taste very good, price reasonable.
