I eat here at lunch sometimes because the location is convenient. I find the food very average; so I don't quite understand the glowing reviews from other people. Perhaps the evening chef is better.

This is a lovely restaurant. Can get crowded and if you are hard of hearing you might sit in one of the tables with your back to the wall. Wait staff are friendly and helpful and the food is fresh and delicious. The dishes were fantastic - I had the grilled salmon salad (watching the calories) and my husband had... More

Really nice and fresh food, well prepared and seasoned perfectly. Friendly staff and prices are reasonable. The restaurant itself might not be the best place to enjoy your food, it feels like take away is their main priority.

The food was good, value was good, service was great and it is on the same block as Berkeley Rep, Freight and Salvage and Cal Jazz Conversancy (former Jazzschool). It was rainy heavily so we were happy to have only a short walk. I would recommend a reservation during heavy times (like Sat night) as it was super crowded when... More

$14 is a lot for a fairly small plate of pad thai with chicken. if the serving had been bigger, it would still be pretty bland, and i just think it should be better tasting, not bigger.

The exterior is beautiful, but the interior is plain, sterile, and stark. Food was pretty good, service was perfunctory.

We stumbled on this cute little place around the corner from the Berkley Rep. The food was fresh delicious and fast. The service was impeccable. Plus we got a ten percent discount when we showed are play tickets. Awesome.

It is a great place to eat before the theater but must make reservations. It is quite popular. I loved the mango prawn salad and the bbq chicken. They were very serviceable. Small place but well worth being crowded in.

So delicious and very nice staff. They have plenty of gluten free options - I usually get the Country Pad Thai (a bit spicier than regular Pad Thai) with either tofu, chicken, or shrimp. It's always fresh and tasty. The soups are fantastic and satisfying. They're pretty flexible if you have food allergies so just make it clear to them... More

I was in town on business and looking for some great takeout to bring back to my hotel room. I was intrigued by Gecko Gecko's menu and decided to get a few dishes to sample. The crispy rice salad was outstanding. The subtle dressing with crunchy rice was a great contrast in flavor and texture. So light and yet filling.... More
