La Dolce Vita is an old school Italian restaurant with a subdued dark atmosphere serving excellent food. It's a bit pricey; expect entrees to run $40+ and drinks are also on the high side. We enjoyed and order of arancini, fried risotto balls though the...More

You can really feel the history here, imagine the days when Frank Sinatra or The Rat Pack hung out here. Service was excellent and the good was amazingly good. Be sure to make a reservation.

This restaurant was a throw back to the times of Frank Sinatra and Ronald Reagan and it is apparent in the decor, low lighting, and leather booths. The food was excellent, especially the Veal Parmigiana and the Spaghetti and Meatballs. Our family enjoyed the meals,...More

Stopped by because we were tired on arrival and it was close to the hotel. Nothing wrong, other than being over priced, but more like a big city Italian restaurant than California. Won't go back.

For nostalgia reasons we returned to this restaurant after a long hiatus. The restaurant is still small, intimate and welcoming. The scampi appetizer is how we remembered it. Our second course was a risotto and it was so salty, it was inedible. The risotto was...More

Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and

Steeped in Hollywood history, La Dolce Vita features a relevant menu and some of LA's most inventive cocktail recipes. Having been open for 50+ years, La Dolce Vita has quite a storied past. Frank Sinatra held court here and the Reagans convened their Kitchen Cabinet, on numerous occasions, at table 14. New owner Alessandro Uzielli tapped in to his New York Upper East Side Restaurant roots to bring this unique night spot back to being the go to place it was when it opened in 1966. Just blocks from Rodeo Drive and the center of Beverly Hills, La Dolce Vita provides an exceptional location, unparalleled atmosphere, excellent Italian cuisine, and great wine and cocktail offerings.
