The posole is marvelous, and the regular margarita is very, very good. The other margaritas have not been sampled. The chili verde is tasty, and so is the red salsa.

Made a quick stop at Azteca on our way to Big Bear. We could have shared one plate because the portions were huge. Service was excellent. The chips and sales kept coming while we waited for our meals which wasn't long. I didn't think their speciality tomale was great but the red beans (with cheese melted on top) was the... More

This small family-owned restaurant serves up Mexican food in Big Bear. The restaurant's dining room is quite small, but they do have a nice patio dining area for warm weather. Bathrooms are located outside, which is something to bear in mind during colder weather. We visited this establishment on a busy Friday night. We orderd a few things that were... More

We stopped here on our way to our rental cabin because everyone was hungry and we couldn't stop in the village. The service here is very good with the young staff waiting on all our needs and we were a big group (10). The young lady Dillon was very courteous and remembered everything we wanted and consistently attended to our... More

11/2016- On a recommendation that raved about this place we went. Please be aware that all the reviews about the "patio" seating don't apply during winter months unless you want to sit in the snow. It is an open patio and rather cold after sunset even if dry. The interior is not very spacious, but people usually don't linger there... More

We took Mom out for dinner and enjoyed chicken fajitas with rice and beans. Also some refreshing margaritas to drink! The staff were friendly and helpful during our visit. Atmosphere was festive and comfortable with reasonable prices.

We had breakfast, or brunch there both Saturday and Sunday because we enjoyed it. We were there in summer and sat outside. The service was good and the plates were really good. The bloody mary's are big and tasty too. My friend's dad is a world-class chef and he enjoyed it too. We will go back!

I stopped at quite a few restaurants near my hotel and they were either closed, or really slow in taking care of people... just got in my car and drove... and voila! Gotta love Mexican food, I am rarely let down. This place looks popular with locals, fairly intimate... I got food to go... was served efficiently and friendly, good... More

We were promptly seated outside (we could have chosen inside). The servers did an awesome job. Our drinks and chips were brought promptly. The food, however, wasn't very good. My cheese enchilada had so little cheese that I had to hunt for it. The shredded beef in the taco was mushy. Not sure how that can happen. Two baskets of... More
