They serve a variety of Asian foods, Thai, Chinese, etc. The service was good. The food was good, especially the apricot nan which we ate instead of dessert. The servings were very large. One appetizer and one entree is enough for two. The restaurant is in the heart of the tourist area, so if you are looking for some typical... More

I was very pleased with my food and with the ability to order it "mild" even if that makes it a bit less authentic. They had many different items to choose from so there should be something for all tastes.

India cuisine is our favorite. We are always in search of quality Indian restaurants and we are often disappointed. Not here. Everything was excellent. The naan, pakora, papadam, chicken curry were all top notch. Highly recommended.

We had the chicken tikka masala, the vegatable korma and naan bread. The kids had the Nepalese lemonade (which tasted like limeade) and a mango lassi. The mango lassi was great, but we did not care for the Nepalese lemonade. The tikka masala was very similar to the one at Masala Craft. The vegetable korma at Himalayan was better than... More

My wife and I went here just on word of mouth and it came recommended by a local. The food was good. It came on a square metal tray type thing. I forgot to take pictures sorry. The presentation was nice and service wasn't bad. Just a typical no frills Indian restaurant. What we did not like were the glass... More

The Himalayan has the best food in the Big Bear Lake area. We love to get lunch take-out which is very reasonable priced and has huge portions. It includes an entree, aaloo mattar, lentil, rice, naan, and salad. We always have left-overs for the next day. My personal favorite is their naan bread (a necessary staple) and the Chicken Masala... Very nice authentic meal. I eat a lot if Indian food and cook a lot if it myself. The lamb saag was delicious and the lamb naan perfect. Portions are very large and family size for sharing. No reason to order rice when you have naan.

Based on the other reviews I had to stop here on trip to big bear. I got take out, ordered lunch chicken masala. Was quick and very reasonably priced for amount of food you get and for being California. I got rice, chicken, soup, salad, veggies and naan plus sauces for 10 dollars. Was enough for me to share with... More

This was the only Indian restaurant we could find here but it was superb. The food taste and quality was great. Though as usual at all Indian restaurant was visited mostly by people from America and other countries.

Had the chicken dumplings with a chutney dipping sauce for an appetizer and they were pretty tasty. Tried their version of tandoori chicken and it was pretty good. Good food at a fair price. Service was very attentive.
