The wife and I made the short walk from where we were staying as the Grizzly Manor was recommended by our host. Be prepared for a slight wait to be seated, we sat at two counter seats for immediate seating and were at the end of the counter where we were able to watch the chef work his magic. Lot's... More

Were in Big Bear for a few days and my kids were craving a really good breakfast. After reading the reviews, I decided to take us there. It's a very small place with huge and delicious portions. Service was great and fun. We only had to wait for 3 minutes and were seated. They clearly have a consistent waiting line.... More

When you think of Mountain Eats you probably think "GOOD FOOD" that is what Thelma's is all about. A Substantial and diverse menu filled with Good Eats at reasonable prices. Definitely a must do for visitors or locals. Thelma's has delivered quality and satisfaction for many years and never disappoints.

When we first arrived their were a few groups of people waiting, we got seated right away as there were only 2 of us! We ordered the pancakes and waffles. Both were amazing!!! The pancakes were bigger then my head! The service was amazing. It is worth the wait!!!

We went to Grizzly Manor Cafe on Sunday morning on our way out of town back to LA. The food was good and Huge. The portions are unreal. The cafe is TINY and very shabby but the food was worth the 45 min wait.

You'll see the people all waiting to get in.... it's worth the wait! Excellent food, huge portions, funny/friendly staff. It's very busy, this is not your cozy, secluded seating plan. The cook is funny! Don't miss this one!

Grizzly Bear Manor is a tiny eatery is known for its hefty portions of classic American breakfast fare. It is a great place to start your day! It is open from 6am-2pm—come early! If the restaurant is full, write your name down on the list and wait outside. Recommended!

First time I EVER had back to back meals at the #1 and #2 places and did this in BIG Bear! GO figure it was my 60th birthday. Ordered the Grizzly bear breakfast meal - had the leftover biscuits 2 days later at home- had happy birthday sung to me and didn't have to blow on any candles. Even the... More
