Tsunami used to be great. What happened? The service was clunky and lacked attention to detail. Why just take a drink order from one person when you can save yourself several trips to the bar by offering the whole table each time. The food was uninspiring and I've had better at sushi trains for much less money. The restaurant was... More

Tsunami is a great Japanese restaurant that does tepenyaki and also an Alacarte menu. They are both great fun, the atmosphere and area combine to make a little hidden gem with incredible food. It has great potential to become a WA great the only problem is the service. The waiters and waitresses are incompetent at hospitality, they are trying but... More

We went to the teppanyaki part of the restaurant; Tsunami Ko. The staff were exceptionally friendly and it was a wonderful atmosphere. I wouldn't recommend going here with more than 3 people. The food was incredible. It was disappointing that there was no theatre with the cooking on the hot plates. Would return but for a more intimate meal rather... More

The staff were very friendly and helpful ,we wanted to change tables and that was no problem .has a good range of saki . We had the tuna sashimi on special ,was nice . I think it would be good to go with about 6 people and get everyone to order something different ,then share . The 'Zen garden out... More

Ordered takeaway fish teriyaki and rice, gyoza and vegie tempura - for the price this is what we got. They forgot our rice and when I returned to pick it up there was no acknowledgment or apology. This is what $28 a head looked like. Joke.

Very good ambience. Food is decent. Variety of drinks. Just not enough outdoor heater for a 8° night

Have not dined there, but always can vouch for reliability when ordering takeaway. My family get a Tsunami fix once a month. Tasty and good value.

I have been going here for a long time which makes it even more disappointing then it has seemed to have declined. I came back to Perth and after already hearing about it not being great the takeaway I went and ordered. First of all this is not sushi Train price even though they have better food. I spent $70... Dinner for 2. Booked a babysitter. Got sat in the main corridor thoroughfare with a large 21st type party outside. Felt every step of people in and out through the floorboards. Child of the establishment ran amok around us undisciplined. Fell off a bar stool so we had to provide assistance, was left to muck around playing the baby grand... More

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SERVICE! You advertise "locals night at 25% off for orders over $40" - I live on the adjacent street and booked my birthday dinner at your restaurant. My mother gets up to pay (as I have back problems) and then when I check the bill to see if you have added the discount you didn't. I then have... More
