Man was I surprised! The place looks like a shack but inside you'll be surprised by the best fish and chips..and burgers, you might ever imagine.

Very good fish and chips. The chowder is light but not much taste. Very reasonable price. Parking is easy.

These fish and chips were just great. Crispy on the outside, juicey. Service was quick. You order and pay then sit down. They were not busy when we got there, which is good because parking can be limited. Seems to be totally a local place. The chower was above average, but not great. I would go here again.

Doing a little chowder tasting tour of our own, thought we'd stop here. Very quick service with a smile. The chowder was different, with many extra ingredients, but it had good flavor.

It's a small place but friendly people. It was a counter order meal and they brought our food to us. It was definitely a 'local' hangout where the food was good. Nothing fancy about the place for sure. The few little tables were close together and I didn't really like trying to talk because you were so close to your... More

Went to Bodega Bay for the beach. Stopped for lunch. Had fish and chips. GOOD! Fish was memorable. Cole slaw was too. But the doors were open and the flies were everywhere. I at first gave it a 3 but it was good......

after driving south on 101 from mendocino for many miles, we arrive at Bodega Bay and discover quick eats at the Boat House. There are not a lot of choices from Mendocino to Bodega, so stop here if you're hungry for fish and chips or clam chowder. The waiter/cashier is very friendly. You won't be sorry. $12 for fish and... Doing an art show in the area and the Dog House was recommended. They were closing so the nice owner told us to try the Boat house. What a kind person and spot on. The fish and chip were soooo good better than I make at home. The clam chowder was as good as any in New England. Prices were... More

Came in less then an hour before they were to close Hubby and I ordered fish tacos and a beer. Very friendly chatted with us about the foreign currency on the counter which my hubby liked. When our tacos arrived I must say they were the best I had ever had. Sorry no pictures they were too yummy to take... More
