I had not been here in about 10 years and how I remember the great pea soup. The flavor and richness of the pea soup is still as wonderful as I remember it years ago. I ordered the optional sides to put in the soup...More

Service was not great. Ordered a hamburger without onions but got onions anyway. They were on the burger, grilled and greasy. The bun was greasy too. Some locals were eating here but I don't know why. The prices are high for what you get. If...More

Had a light lunch here: Split Pea Soup (2nd bowl free), bread and a strawberry milkshake. Split Pea Soup was as expected, perhaps a bit salty. Bread was good to go with the soup. Strawberry milkshake was thick and hearty in such that it plugged...More

This is an old classic that, sadly, needs some attention. It’s shabby, the front lobby doesn’t smell too great and the trinket shops are a little sad. But the pea soup is as good as ever.

I do not think so. It is an old established restaurant from back in the 50s, and they have kept the same menu. There are very good salads - the soup is to die for -- and you can always pick from the menu??
