Decorated with old memorabilia it appears the building is from a past era. The staff is friendly and the food is good. I had the daily special which was fish tacos. They were great. They also serve sandwiches, burgers and salads.

Like a step back in time, both the decor and the menu feature lots of fried foods but prepared well, with warm and friendly service. It's like dining in the old style with traditional choices. The place is usually packed and is popular with tourist and locals alike.

What ever you do, have the spicy tuna stack as an appetizer. Amazing! They were out of fresh oysters but they did have pan-fried oysters, which were good but not great. They breading was a little industrial tasting. My grilled red snapper, however, was excellent...cooked to perfection. The service was also excellent. I think we would return but the restaurant... I ate here with my mother and sister based on a recommendation from the employee at the hotel we stayed at. It is a cool place, decorated interestingly. The food was VERY good! However, the service was slow, and not attentive but friendly enough. The bathroom needed to have the trash emptied, needed toilet seat covers and toilet paper, which... More

We were here on hospitality night and they were dishing out clam chowder outside by the warmers. Felt like we were joining in a group of friends out in the yard. Thereafter we saw a sign that it was all you can eat crab night (i believe it was a thursday) and decided to give the place a shot. We... More

Been there several times. Good fish prepared with unique sauces (gourmet style). Average prices for fresh fish.

This is a terrific restaurant in the tiny village of Cambria, California. Small, quaint, indoor & outdoor seating, great atmosphere and fabulous service. Brian and Jess both provided top notch service and the food was outstanding. The decor is wonderful. Don't miss the carnival funhouse mirrors in the restrooms. They make you believe that you really didn't eat the five-layer... More

The food was very good. Both of us had fish and chips and were pleased to see tender, thick pieces of fish and not the dried out, thin pieces you see all too often. Fried zucchine was above average, with a very good chipotle sauce and the portion was generous. NICE CHANGE from my last order, elsewhere, which was only... More

A local shopkeeper recommended this restaurant to us for a great hamburger. She was right! Yummy hamburger on a heated potato bun and a good balsamic pasta salad. My husband's fries were a bit spicy for him. We will ask them to hold the spices when we go there again. Cute decor of books, brick, and plenty of sunshine.

We had a great lunch here as we were leaving Cambria. Sandwiches were hot and fresh and very tasty! We had a chicken one and BLT and both very good! Great service too!
