Great for that "required" group meal for some festive occasion, sitting around the grill as the chef prepares the various courses. NOT the latest, cutting-edge Japanese cuisine ( for THAT, I think you have to go to LA---or Tokyo). Expensive, but fun

I am a huge sashimi and sushi fan and I especially love uni which most people won't touch. Kyoto Palace had excellent uni on the two nights I visited. The rest of their sushi and sashimi was awesome. They also had cooked Japanese food but I prefer raw.

We came here for a birthday dinner. We knew that it would be expensive but since it was for a birthday we were ok with it. NEVER AGAIN!! 1st Server: She was an older Asian woman with a long pony tail and we couldn't understand her. Never could hear what or if she said her name. We waited about 15... More

If you want a show as your food is being cooked this is the place. I have been coming her for 25+ years and still like it.

visited last night for the first time, it was very busy and very noisy with lots of children, families. we were seated in the rear which was little less noisy. cocktails were really good. complimentary soup and salad were okay, i had chicken and steak cooked at the table which were excellent.

Funny dinner... It was my first time at a Teppanyaki restaurant and I enjoyed the experience. The restaurant was a bit crowded and noisy but you can not expect something too different actually. It’s a good idea for a dinner with a group of friends or colleagues. The only problem is the smoke on your dresses and hair… The food... More

I have been in several similar restaurant and couple of times to this location. It is important that table chef shows some cooking tricks. The chef for our table was ok ( average). Our guest visited from UK enjoyed the show though. Remember your clothes will smell after you leave this restaurant. So, plan ahead accordingly :-)

Having read the other reviews I generally concur with the idea that it is a little tired, the concept is getting stogy and it feels like less of a value as a result. It is fine but don't expect to be wowed by service, cleanliness, prices or the "showmanship". With the right level of expectation you can have a good... More

KP is resting on old laurels. Either the standards have gone down a lot or my past impression has been clouded. The chef's seem so tired of doing the 'show' so many times that it really shows. They seem to use garlic butter as a universal seasoning for everything regardless of what you order. tip - don't order something with... More

Fried rice great, service good, but 'Sea Food Delight' was a seafood fright. scallops and calamari tasted off, my wife's chicken wasn't tasty either. Place is worn and dirty. Way over due for an upgrade.
