Bento lunch costs $12.95 and portion is like an appetizer. Food is mediocre at best. Avoid at all cost.

The sushi here is delicious! Everything is super fresh with substantial fish in both the nigiri and the rolls. They artfully prepare the dishes. An awesome local spot.

Charming and authentic Japanese restaurant a hidden gem. Delicious sushi, soups and main dishes. I love the udon noodle soup with the squash slices. Very zen.

We go here at least a few times a year. New owner has had it last few years. Reasonably priced. Moslty good service. Head Sushi chef is a local, and owner has one other place on the Peninsula in another town. Only two other Japanese/sushi places in town. One of which's service and quality [cold miso for heavens sake] bottomed... More

Super small restaurant. One server, one bus boy and the sushi chef. Simple. Staff is attentive and quick. I eat sushi all over and this is some of the best that I have had... We ordered sweet shrimp with heads, yellowtail, samon roe and a lot of other sashimi.. My son had some rolls. Everything was great. I will definitely... More

This cozy Japanese restaurant serves excellent sushi and other delicious Japanese dishes. It is very tiny, so reservations are recommended especially during peak times. I especially like the soft shell crab rolls.

We had our heart set on the Mission Ranch restaurant. We called and were told no reservations taken - first come first served. When we visited, we found a 1-2 hour waiting list. As a general rule, I believe that when any restaurant is that busy, there must be some other restaurant equally good or better looking for business and... More

After reading reviews posted here and Yelp, I was prepared to leave if not satisfied by service and/or food offerings. I was most pleasantly surprised by our server's welcoming greeting upon our arrival as Guests 4 & 5. Within 5-10 minutes after our arrival, 14-15 more guests arrived in separate parties and maxed out both room and sushi bar capacity... More

The staff was so rude and wasted it was just hard to believe this was not a bad dream. They acted as if we did not exist. We were the only customers there at 8:00 Saturday night and they still managed to ignore us. They were so loud we could barely hear ourselves talk. Then their friends arrived and the... More

Almost, but not entirely. This restaurant has such a good rating that surely my experience must be the exception. To further apologize my wife and I did order the bento boxes so surely their rolls must be better. The salad was brown and wilted and laying in a pool of watery sauce. When questioned about this the server said, "well... More
