This is an upscale restaurant and lodging set in a quiet pastoral setting in Carmel. Sheep grazing in the pasture. Clint Eastwood saved this place when it was supposed to be torn down for Condos. Very historic dating back to the 1800s but totally up...More

Great view of the open field with Clint Eastwood's protected sheep. Food is good and mostly American style. The restaurant is on the grounds that provides rooms and tennis court. Back in the 1980's when Clint Eastwood was mayor of Carmel by the Sea, he...More

We waited 90 mins for a table but we were glad we did. Food was good but the restaurant was so dark we couldn't actually see what we were eating when it came!

If you're in Carmel and want to act like you're hobnobbing with the casual rich, as well as the "big hat-no cattle" set, Mission Ranch is for you. Ordered two hamburgers, one glass of wine and the bill came to $60 with tip. Burgers were...More

I gave our experience 4 stars because Mission Ranch is just so darn gorgeous. Charming, stunning view, sheep. I could have sat on that outdoor patio all day soaking it in. However, we found the brunch to be very average. For $40 a person and...More

Great ambiance, service and food. One of the most enjoyable restaurants on the California coast. Good service and food and great value.

There was a very nice selection for brunch. Included in the cost of $40 was a glass of champagne or a mimosa. Recommend a table outdoors weathers permitting. There was a trio playing lovely music during brunch. Take time to stroll the grounds.

Love this place! We arrived late Sunday afternoon for the bar menu. We were lucky to get a table outside not reserved for dinner. Menu was great with a good variety of choices. Everything was good, especially liked the calamari and banana/walnut ice cream. Amazing...More

My wife and I were interested in an early, light dinner and drinks, and the Mission Ranch's bar menu (which I read on line) and the outdoor patio setting seemed just right for us. We arrived shortly after 5 pm on a Thursday afternoon. We...More

I'm pretty sure the Mission Ranch restaurant does not take reservations. It's a first come first served system where they will take your name and buzz you when the table is ready.
