Sunday buffet was good. Best to sit on the patio, inside was rather warm. Music is wonderful. Great piano.

I first visited the restaurant over 15 years ago and this time taking my grandson and was not disappointed. Food and drink are top notch and with outside seating the view is lovely. In my book a must do. Also the whiskey sauce bread pudding is worth the effort.

Doesn't get much better, especially if you sit outside under heaters during sunset. Service is brisk to accommodate the crowds but this is still a premier experience. Piano bar music inside is a plus if you enjoy a semi-retro experience and of course the hotel grounds are drop-dead gorgeous.

The heated patio is very warm! The catch of the day - yellow tail with wasabi and arugula, served with broccoli and mashed potatoes- was the best! The salmon was light and basic but the yellow tail was superb. The warm garlic bread and the selection of California wines was nice and the service was very personable. Out of the... More

Food and service were fantastic. We had the specials and recommended wine. we split a beet salad that would recommend if you like beets. Walking around the grounds before and after was a treat. We stayed in the lowest priced room and it was very nice.

Mission Ranch is a must visit. I love sitting outside even on a cool evening. There are plenty of heaters. I often eat from the bar menu as I love their burgers! Glasses of wine are very reasonable unlike many places in Carmel. The view is absolutely intriguing as well. Should you decide to sit at the bar or inside... More

The Mission Ranch restaurant while not fancy or upscale, is our favorite place to go each time we visit Carmel. Priority seating as hotel guests is great as you don't have to rush, nor do you need to worry about driving should you partake in a few glasses of spirits. The patio seating is beautiful and we normally sit out... More

We enjoy dinner at Mission Ranch every time we visit the area. Although this last rainy night we were able to get an immediate table, part of the usual appeal is the wait while enjoying an excellent martini from the bar and listening to the local talent singing around the piano. With the storm clearing, we took a table outside... More

I love, love, love the restaurant at Mission Ranch Inn. My husband and I have been there at least 10 times and have brought many friends and family. We always choose Mission Ranch for our last night of vacation because it is a guaranteed hit. Arrive at 4:00 for happy hour on the deck. You can choose your table for... More

Went here for brunch with a large group of friends. The ranch and its setting are just beautiful. The hosts and serving staff are gracious and polite. Prices are quite reasonable. The food selection is good for a buffet, but not great. Not all of the hot food is as hot as it should be or served properly. Eggs Benedict,... More
