Good for breakfast, they have nice omelettes and other American breakfast items. It is a quiet place and it opens early, which was convenient. Our server wasn't happy on that day, and she was barely answering our questions.

We were excited to try this local restaurant yesterday based on previous reviews. Started off fine, nice table, drinks, coffee. We patiently waited for our food despite all surrounding tables being served before us. After over 45 minutes passed (keep in mind this is breakfast) and a table of 6 who came in 30 minutes after us received food, I... More

We love to go to breakfast and like a big breakfast before we hit the mountain, this place was great. Our initial greeting was a little weird, the girl was eating breakfast at the counter while greeting us but the food was excellent and the price was reasonable although not cheap. I'd definitely go back next time I'm in the... More

There always seems to be alone to eat here. The food is good and there is lots. Their scrambles are great and so are the omelettes. Busy busy busy!

Family friendly eats. When we went, it appeared that it was a family affair with what appeared to be the owners family as well as the staff. Very friendly and home type eating.

Went fishing at the marina then off to Old Post Office. Thanks to the others on this site, we were thrilled with our breakfast. The omelet was amazing and BLT breakfast sandwich was perfectly prepared. Lastly, thanks to all the other reviewers who said not to miss the home fries -- delicious!

They have waffles, the quality of which all others are held in comparison. Delicious and a highlight of our Tahoe visits. They are the best. Perfect bacon, soft butter for the waffles, real maple syrup an extra option...oh, yes. Breakfast available all day. So good!

Situated right at the side of the road which skirts Lake Tahoe at Carnelian Bay this place is quite easy to miss and I'm so glad we didn't. We called in for lunch on our journey round beautiful Lake Tahoe and what appeared, from the road, to be just a little 'coffee stop' actually turned out to be quite a... More
