Have not eaten here in over a year but felt like some Peruvian cuisine. First of all the window had a sign "dishwasher needed, preparer needed and cook needed". The restaurant had been painted and looked fresh and bright. But looking at the menu the prices had increased. The drinks also increased. I ordered a merlot and it was very... More

The food is really tasty and a little different. They had halibut ceviche which my wife said was excellent. I had a rib-eye with Peruvian sauce with onions, potatoes and tomatoes which had a really nice favor. We will be back!. The waitress really took her time explaining the menu...very nice! The restaurant is located in a strip mall but... More

Wow, this place was so delicious!! My husband and I looked on yelp to find a place to eat while we were out and ended up here and we are so glad we did!! We loved it so much we are going back again tonight!! Such amazing flavors and delicious sauces as well. Great, friendly service.

A friendly and yummy place to eat. I highly recommend this place. Pros: The sauces are spectacular and how do they do the onions and tomatoes? This is one of the two favorites when our team goes to a special lunch A great place to share meals as the serving sizes are huge and then you get to taste more... More

We arrived for a late lunch and were very hungry. We were given bread and sauces while are food was cooking and they were delicious. We both had rice dishes which were superb. The portions are large, so be prepared for left over. We will be back to try other dishes. I can't remember the first name of the waitress... More

Being Peruvian, I know when the food is good or it's just ok. El Rocoto is known for ceviche and famous pisco sour. I've been there more than couple times and mostly been on dates. It is one of the most classiest Peruvian restaurants you will find in La and Oc county. However, the prices are kinda high but the... More

This is really good Peruvian food. You have to know the food in order to not be wrong about what you order. Their green salsa is delicious. Family oriented.

We spent a few days in Long Beach and went to this wonderful restaurant in Cerritos. We started with the ceviche mixto that was so good. They brought us baskets of rolls with two sauces to dip the bread in. I couldn't get enough of the green sauce. It was perfection. For my entrée I had the lamb shank, that... More

We had the trio of causas and they were not as flavourful and spicy as expected. The ceviche tasted too much like lime and it overpowered the chili and the flavour of the fish and the seafood. It was a little salty as well. The yuccas were perfect. My nephew had fried rice and it was good but nothing special.... More

A business colleague brought me here for a casual table-service lunch. Wonderful selection of Peruvian dishes (some are pictured on the menu itself). We had stir-fry beef with onions, tomatoes, french fries and rice. Yum! There's a nice aquarium at the entrance, and seating is either booths or tables. I'd come back if ever in the area again!
