A small place located in the back of Chico where homeless people can be seen. There is parking located in an alleyway or side street, and it is sometimes hard to find. A line may form in the morning because the place is small with a wait of ~15-30min. The food had nice portions and good prices for what you... More

This highly in demand breakfast and lunch spot is really worth the wait. Coffee served in individual french press's brewed at tableside. Very fast and friendly service, eclectic/modern vibe with a touch of coziness. I had the sausage hash and it was chock full of tasty sausage mixed with potateos wth my over easy eggs, My daughter had the Eggs... More

This is only my second time to visit Cafe Coda, but I love it! My lady and I both had incredibly delicious coffee drinks and excellent breakfasts with HUGE portions. Plus you can tell it's REAL food served by genuinely REAL folks- meaning great food and great service! We will be back next time we're in Chico. I've heard from... More

The set up inside is so cute and the food was amazing. I don't know why I waited so long to try it. On certain evenings they also have live music playing while you eat I can't wait to go in the evening time.

Very calm atmosphere. This restaurant is also used for small concerts. the Athena is a wonderful dish, hearty to the brim with plenty of leftovers. Young workers but very respectful and do not bother you while eating. Grapefruit juice is delicious.

The Coda Benedict was hearty and just the perfect brunch meal. Very filling! The parmesan crusted focaccia bread added a salty cheesy corn taste to the eggs Benedict, slightly different from the classic eggs Benedict taste. They serve French press coffee, which is fabulous and rare it seems in most restaurants.

Good breakfast. Service was a little slow but they were super busy since it was a Sunday. Lemon poppy pancakes were very good.

This is a favorite for locals. I'm a local and I love it. It not your typical breakfast place at all. Yes, you can get a stack of pancakes or French toast but you can make those very special too. They have a wide selection of customary breakfast plates but your choices of the sides can make a unique breakfast... More

I would be happy to eat breakfast here every weekend! Their specialty breakfasts, like challah french toast and buttermilk are the best, and their selection of egg specialties is long and varied. Something for everyone on this menu and they never disappoint. Great coffee, with homemade almond milk if you choose. Mimosas are a nice treat too! Be prepared to... More
