When you are looking for Cafe Mexicano and some of the best ranchero sauce this side of the border, look no further than Lomas Cafe. Great service and food makes a winning combination.

We came here a few ago and really liked this hidden gem of a Mexican restaurant on the south side of Chula Vista. Good selection of drinks, excellent food and prices were very reasonable. When you want authentic Mexican food Lomas Cafe delivers! We found this small restaurant by accident and are duly impressed with their huevos rancheros and cafe canella (cinnamon coffee). It is a fun crowd who watch world football and have a great time here. We felt so at home here. Do try it.

Went there for dinner, wasnt busy at all which is good cause its not a big place. Definitely not the romantic dinner place. Food was ok but not very hot as in temperature wise. Had the carne asada plate, good flavor but very tough. Prices and service were good. Best part was $3 margaritas during happy hour.

We have been there for breakfast and dinner. Food is always excellent and the service is great too! I haven't been there during Chargers game, but I hear that's a good time too.

My girlfriend's grandfather has been coming to this place for a while and she began a ritual of joining him every week. She was hooked and told my that I must try this place too. So, on our... More
