This place is llike a blast from the past, I really enjoy a good breakfast here. It takes me back to going out for breakfast with my dad when I was young. I had a very good "Original Joes" type omelet that was very good and a big portion to take some home for a snack later. My husband really... More

Sugar Plum is a great breakfast and lunch place that has been around for years and more years. That staying power is based on good food and really great service. I believe that the chef/cook is also the owner. The menu is extensive with the usual array of egg dishes and omelets, as well as chicken fried steak, pork chops,... More

I'm sure glad places like this are still around. I love their hashed browns; made from potatoes grated that morning, there's a huge serving that's crispy on the outside and cooked perfectly on the inside. I had them with the chicken fried steak covered in gravy and a couple eggs over easy. Everything was cooked as ordered, tasted delicious and... More

They only take cash, but make sure that you show up early because this little place fills up fast. A lot of long time regulars come here and for good reason. The food is made on an open griddle right in front of you and the portions are large. They also bring your food really quickly. A little Concord gem.

First ample parking all around. Don't be afraid to either park directly behind the restaurant or on nearby surface streets. Hash browns - perfectly crisply. Nice done. Soft inside. Country Potatoes even better. Diced ham and egg scramble - huge portion. You will not be hungry Blueberry Pancake - superstar of the breakfast. Tons of berries, light and fluffy, lots... More

The Sugar Plum is a very popular spot in Concord. This is a very typical diner style restaurant from the 60's and 70's. Basic good grub and very fast service. Serving normal traditional breakfasts of eggs, sausage, bacon and potatoes. Sort of a " Greasy Spoon" but not sure that is a fair assessment of this place.

This is a s close to a 1960's breakfast and lunch counter as you will find, likely because I don't thing they have remodeled since then. They open early in the morning and are closed after lunch. As traditional as you can get where you can start your day with variations on your eggs and beacon etc. Nothing artisan here,... More

Small, feels like home I've been going there so long. Best BLT w/ avacado! Like to sit at counter where you can see them cooking your food. A lot of regulars frequent Sugar Plum, and it's been in business for so long I can't remember it not being there. Good place for breakfast too. Sometimes parking can be a problem,... More
