For our family, no trip to Coronado Island is complete with out a stop at Moo Time. You can't beat a place that has a giant Elvis statue and a large cement cow outside. Inside you will find a '50's soda fountain type vibe with...More

We had fast, efficient service. The ice cream was very tasty. They serve delicious sundaes, cones, cups and specialty creations. They were a little expensive. Its a very small shop and not much seating.

Great fresh ice cream! We thoroughly enjoyed the freshness and flavors! My daughter and I both had Silly Vanilly and my other daughter had the Forest Berry Sherbet! Delicious!

Awesome ice cream and gelato. Many flavors and toppings to choose from. Not too expensive. Family friendly for all ages. Located near the pool at the Del Coronado.

There is a store both on the street and the Del. However the store at the Del has a horrible smell but my child is convinced the ice cream there is creamier. The ice cream in both locations is awesome.

Great local creamery. I wish they had a few selection with adds in them ( like moose tracks, black walnut that kinda stuff) but a waffle cone is not an up charge so that was surprising. I enjoyed the butter pecan I had and a...More

Good place for some ice cream. It did have a gumminess to it, but it was still tasty. Had a nice variety of flavors and the staff was terrific.

Charming retro cow theamed ice cream parlor. Limited indoor and outdoor seating. Everything from smoothies to sundaes. Many flavors. Great stop for a family treat.

While staying in the Hotel Del Coronado we walked past the creamery numerous times and the line was long all day. Finally came after dinner and it was a little shorter so we went for it. Ice cream was really good and they had a...More

Description
A brick & mortar neighborhood institution, MooTime Creamery has been serving up America's favorite dessert to locals and tourists alike for the last 15 years. From Double Dark Chocolate to Stracciatella, the locally owned, '50s style shop provides Coronado with premium handcrafted ice cream, sorbet, yogurt and hand-rolled waffle cones all made fresh daily with the highest quality ingredients. MooTime first opened on Orange Avenue in 1998. Churning out ice cream in a fun, nostalgic atmosphere, the local favorite has seen such stars as Magic Johnson, Jason Alexander, Mandy Moore and Cuba Gooding Jr. come through its doors to enjoy a MooTime treat. MooTime serves a variety of old-fashioned delights from floats and sodas to sundaes and splits. Catering is also available, with a list of options including ice cream bars, float bars and hot fudge bars, taking all of the fun and flavor offsite.
