This place is so delicious - you can smell it from around the block and they have literally dozens of ways you can expand your waistline. Sundaes, cookie sandwiches, milkshakes, etc. You name it, they have it. I love anything mint so I was eyeballing...More

I have been coming to Coronado since I was a little girl. This place has always been a favorite for our family. They are very popular and you most likely will stand in a long line.. but it is worth it!! I personally love the...More

While the old-fashioned/moo-themed decor is fun, it doesn’t make up for the mediocre ice cream. On the plus side, Moo Time has a large selection of flavors, sundae options, and other ice cream novelties (e.g. ice cream tacos). Maybe I’m spoiled from living in Graeter’s...More

Sampled a few flavors and none of them were exceptional or even really tempting. I’ve had far better ice cream from Ben and Jerry’s and at Penn State University’s Creamery at more reasonable prices. Got a kid’s cup of chocolate malt that barely tasted like...More

The ice cream is great but, I thought, a little expensive for a single cup. Great choices and some unusual ones.

I’m not an ice cream guy. I might have a bowl a year and its usually when on vacation with my kids. Even then it’s a few bites and it’s in the bin. MooTime was recommended by a friend and WOW. I had Samoa’s (yes...More

For our family, no trip to Coronado Island is complete with out a stop at Moo Time. You can't beat a place that has a giant Elvis statue and a large cement cow outside. Inside you will find a '50's soda fountain type vibe with...More

Description
A brick & mortar neighborhood institution, MooTime Creamery has been serving up America's favorite dessert to locals and tourists alike for the last 15 years. From Double Dark Chocolate to Stracciatella, the locally owned, '50s style shop provides Coronado with premium handcrafted ice cream, sorbet, yogurt and hand-rolled waffle cones all made fresh daily with the highest quality ingredients. MooTime first opened on Orange Avenue in 1998. Churning out ice cream in a fun, nostalgic atmosphere, the local favorite has seen such stars as Magic Johnson, Jason Alexander, Mandy Moore and Cuba Gooding Jr. come through its doors to enjoy a MooTime treat. MooTime serves a variety of old-fashioned delights from floats and sodas to sundaes and splits. Catering is also available, with a list of options including ice cream bars, float bars and hot fudge bars, taking all of the fun and flavor offsite.
