This über-sophisticated gourmet bistro and noodle bar is a mainstay of South Coast Plaza. It's a family-run establishment and Chef “Mama” Helene An’s principle of 'yin and yang' cooking follows the foundations of Eastern medicine, using ingredients only when they’re in season and at their freshest. The interior is very stylish and is a venue for events and fashion shows... More

We went for lunch shortly after they opened and were seated within a few minutes. It's not a large menu, so it's pretty easy to decide. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Our order as well as the orders around us did take a long time to bring to the table. It's as if they only had 1 chef.... More

Went here on business lunch while visiting from out of state...was so impressed! Garlic noodles were so yummy as were the fish tacos. Mmm mmmm! Service was outstanding. Located right inside Bloomingdales at South Coast Plaza...all around great experience and I will be back!

Inside South Coast Plaza? Amazing. A beautiful, exotic decor that delivers on both food and drink. The well trained wait staff can help you navigate a menu that my seem at first to be a bit unfamiliar. The bar serves up inventive mixed drinks which are fun to try. They have a very nice Sake selection and an adequate wine... More

Happy hour from mid afternoon until 7:30. Arrived at 5:30 on a Monday to enjoy a few drinks and nibbles with some friends. Great priced drinks and interesting cocktails with a definite Asian theme also an extensive and diverse wine menu. Our group drank cocktails, rośe and prosecco. Ordered some nibbles to share- all really tasty and delicious. We shared... More

Garlic noodles are what they are known for, but we've had so many different tastes, especially through seminars that I'm always ready to dine here. Bar is slow but the manager bends over backwards to correct any issue brought to his attention. Live music on Fri/Sat are a treat as one can still hear their guests while the music plays.... More

The restaurant week menu at AnQi was a steal - lunch for $20, including app, entrée and dessert. The two apps, tuna taco and pastrami egg rolls, were both delicious. Entrees of kale Caesar and ribeye dip both hit the spot, as well. (Particularly the ribeye, which was killer...) Service at the bar was very good as well.

We came here for lunch and had to make reservations when they open because they get so crowded. We enjoyed the food but it is very expensive. Service was great.

Had a great night with a large party at AnQi, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was absolutely first-rate, we had a pre-arranged menu with a more limited set of choices, but each choice was good. Had a chance to try a few of my colleagues dishes and can confirm they were all good. Service was good, attentive without... More
