While on a recent visit to Southcoast Plaza, we decided to have lunch here. We had eaten at one of their restaurants a couple of months ago and decided to try their more casual dining venue. After placing your order, you're given a number to take to your table. If you order a drink, it's self serve from one of... More

Came for lunch at 1130 to beat the lunch crowds ... apparently they don't staff for that and I wait fun a line with three other people for ten minutes. The food is simple but tastes great. Lunch cost me $25 for soup sandwich and dessert. I'll come here twice a year or so ... not a "go to" kind... More

To start, I do enjoy Lawry's prime rib and the Tam O'Shanter restaurants and was expecting a positive experience here. The sandwich prices are similar to Tam, but my sandwich anyway, was not similar in value. When it was brought to table, I thought of the old commercial for a fast food hamburger, Where's the beef. Very skimpy for price... More

I usually come here whenever I'm at South Coat Plaza. The food is always fresh, tasty, and consistently good. I've tried most of their salads including the southwest chop, the caesar salad, the turkey cobb and the Lawry's Carver with prime rib. My favorite soup is the beef barley but is not always on the menu. I tried the turkey... More

I was here for lunch while on a shopping trip. I remember from my Chicago days that Lawry's had wonderful portions, great beef and delicious mashed potatoes. So, I ordered the Roast Beef Platter. The meat was dry, they skimped on the gravy and the mashed potatoes seems instant. And this place is not cheap. You order at the counter... More

I finished mine. I got it medium well and it's perfect. Soft as a pillow that melts in your mouth. I thought of not finishing it due to being huge but oops. Not the vegetables part but the other two. Not so fan of the corn, I wish it was just by itself. Father got the Turkey with Mac And... More

If you've ever been to a Lawrys restaurant you know they are a high quality dining experience. The carvery is a smaller version where instead of prime rib, you get prime rib sandwiches and French dips. The food quality is similar. It is just faster and smaller portions.

Very expensive for the quality of meal served; luke warm fatty prime rib was just "ok"...nothing exciting or special here. Mashed potatoes thin and not even hot enough to melt butter (which I had to ask for), coleslaw is the type made using oil not creamy, very bland and was not cold but also "warm"...very disappointing level of food for... nothing special about the food , way over priced, small portion of meat on large slices of bread. A " SUBWAY SANDWICH" would be a much better option and a third of the cost.

Went with my son for lunch and was so disappointed. Service was great, atmosphere was nice BUT not at all worth the money.
