I've eaten here three times as the first visit was nice, but the second and third times were wasted trips. They ran out of the my favorite chunky beef burrito filling one time. and twice the drinks were quite poor. Overall, the food is fairly typical and ok, I like the chunky beef enchilada. The chips and salsa were average.... More

You can tell by the packed tables that this is a very, very popular restaurant. Not many restaurants have been around as long as Mi Casa. It is worth going just for the great chips and salsa.

We were there at one of the busiest times of the evening. They sat us (a large group) as soon as possible. The food was really good, as was the service. We were served quickly, and drinks were refilled quick. The only downside is the parking, its in a busy strip mall. The prices are reasonable, it is a good... More

This is a wonderful local Mexican restaurant. You are greeted with a hot basket of chips and sauce. It's easy to load up with them but, don't because the meals are Large and very good. The tacos are also large and loaded with meat and cheese. The Mexican pizza is another good chose. I get it with carnitas and it... More

This restaurant is easy to find. Not a lot of parking spots in the lot. Luckily someone was pulling out just as we pulled in. Interior decor is average. Even though we did not have reservations, we were seated immediately. We started with the Grande Guacamole appetizer which was quite generous in portion size. I had chicken quesadillas which were... Love this place. The food, bar and service are all terrific. Be prepared to wait a peak hours but it is worth it. The tacos, tamales and cheese enchiladas are favorites of my family. It is in a small strip mall and parking is a challenge.

Took a friend here for the first time and she loved the food. Quick service. I had the chicken flautas and they were very good. My friend had the taco and very tasty. We are definitely coming back.

I have been coming here since 1972, over the years, things have changed a little. The once hour wait for a table, weekends especially, is no more. Some of my favorite dishes are no longer on the menu, Steak Picado, I miss you. A Persident of the United States has not come in for several terms, the two brothers who... More

Mi Casa is a long time staple in Costa Mesa. The food can feel dated sometimes since so many other styles of Mexican cuisine have come onto the scene along with the foods of many other Central and South American countries, but at other times it is just what you want and need. You get big combo plates with rice,... More
