It's very difficult to get reservations anywhere on V-Day, but we did at the Harbor Grille in Dana Point, CA. We sat outside on the enclosed patio, with heat lamps and it was super.I had the Gumbo and that was really fine. My wife had the shirmp languni which was also great. It's a nice relaxing spot, wtih a live... More

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 October 2016

This restaurant has delicious food and a very pleasant ambiance, including a nice enclosed patio for dining outdoors. Each time I have been there, the service has been excellent, the cocktails delicious (especially the lemon drop martini) and the seafood has been fresh. The menu offers a wide variety of food and the presentation is always delightful. It is suitable... More

I really like eating here. It's cozy and the food is good and plentiful so bring your appetite. Breakfasts are awesome. Usually crowded.

This place is the best for brunch on Sunday's with bottomless mimosas! Only exception is the dairy free options are very limited and mostly seafood

We got a friendly reception and were offered a choice of tables, both outside on the veranda (with gas warmers) and inside. We sat outside to enjoy the view of the boats. Starters were great, a selection of fish starters. Mains were equally good, bothe meat and fish dishes.

Went to this restaurant for an evening meal with 6 colleagues. We all enjoyed our food. The staff were great. And the atmosphere was perfect with the live piano playing in the background. Excellent fish choices on the menu, all cooked on the grill in public display.

Here's the thing, the food was fantastic, but our server was pathetic. I ordered an ala carte salad ($5.95) and cup of soup ($7.50). Hubby had fish taco's (which he RAVED about). Server brought my salad and a tuna fish sandwich. OK, things happen. Explained that I ordered soup. His response, "Oh, I thought you wanted soup, the kitchen got... More

I usually judge a restaurant by their fish tacos. This did NOT disappoint! Just enough food, the service was timely and friendly. YUM!

When we lived in So Cal we loved to come here for fresh fish and the view of the Harbor. Great service, Great food and it was fun to walk around the harbor when we were done.

It's noisy and the decor is uninspiring. But the food is good and plenty of it. Open 24/7. Very popular in the early morning hours. Juke box music from the 60's & 70's. Like an old fashioned East Coast Diner. I especially loved the blueberry hotcakes combo. This place is always busy.
