In town with my husband for a conference and told by a local to try Prep Kitchen for dinner. Super casual ambiance with a rustic flare. Our waitress was so friendly and accommodating as we were talking with a colleague of my husband's that joined us for dinner. Brewton gave us excellent recommendations of the octopus and burrata appetizers which... More

We were out visiting family and had friends (old San Deigites, San Deigans?) tell us to stop here for a few beers and snacks. We ordered the bacon wrapped figs and it nearly blew our wigs off. If you are passing through, please stop in and do the same, you will not regret it. Easy walking from stunning views of... More

A great location and nice outside style seating. The food was fairly good for the pricing, not over wow, but a fantastic option for lunch. The seafood mussels had 30% of the serving that had about 3-6 hours of left before GI distress would be expected. Smell and be not afraid to send back if you think it is on... More

We have come here several times with our family. There are four boys, parents and us. The staff here is very accommodating! We always have quick service. And with some dietary restrictions, they work with us. The food is excellent! Salads are delicious! Hamburgers ... wow! The kids love them...so do the adults. They also have a nice wine list.... My husband and I decided to go to this restaurant after friends recommended it. We decided to bring our own wine to take advantage of the $20 corkage fee. Unfortunately the waiter was never taught to open a bottle of wine, he dribbled it everywhere. Now let's talk about the food. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli which were overcooked... More

While in Del Mar, we made reservations for dinner and were not disappointed. This restaurant, serves beer and wine only, which is fine. We were not hungry enough for an appetizer, which was good once dinner arrived. I ordered flat iron steak with a cauliflower puree that was beyond tasty, and perfectly cooked as requested. My husband ordered the pork... More

Sunday Brunch at the beach ! Ginny our sever, was OUTSTANDING ! We ordered the Chiliquiles $16.25 (overpriced) which were excellent, the selection of beers and a wide variety of Mimosa's were outstanding. The Caesar Salad $12.95 (EXTREMELY over priced and under prepared)... The salad consisted of about 6 leaves of Romaine lettuce and some dressing that was pre-prepared. I... More

We'd somehow gained the impression this place served cocktails but actually this location doesn't have a full bar. As a result we ended up getting seated at our table early while we waited for our guests to arrive. The hostess was very helpful in getting us seated early after she'd explained there was no bar. A reasonable, but quite short,... More

We had made a reservation for the three of us, picking my daughter up from the airport we always want to take her somewhere fun! I had heard this was an intimate place with great food. The hostess was completely rude when we wanted to sit more towards the windows where the view and better part of the seating is... More
