This McDonald's is the oldest operating of all the McDonald's. The walk-up counters are the same as they have always been. I met a guy there would had first visited when he was 3-4 years old and he is now in his late 60s. Next to the restaurant is a museum with old pictures, menus and things used back in... More

I do not like McD's they are not on the top of my to go spots for fast food. This place is special so I give it 5 stars because they offer deep fried apple pies just like they did in the old days. The nostalgia here is first rate.

Not a huge fan of Mcdonalds but went to show our son for nostalgia sake. It was fun to walk up and order but the menu and look of the packaging was nothing special. The eating area was filthy and the people around the area didn't seem to think it was very special. Something really needs to be done to... More

Just stumbled on this when I was visiting from out of town. Had to stop and take a look. Very cool. They have a mini museum with old memorabilia of old cups, happy meals, toys, etc. One of the coolest things was the sign that showed the original prices. Hamburgers were 15 cents, fries were 10 cents, and shakes were... More

Staff and residents don't seem to valorize the place as an actual tourist spot. Go ahead as an enthusiast and start taking pictures and they will stare at you as if you're some kind of crazy or something. Food was good, though. The museum is very interesting, also. Overall, people ruined what could be an awesome experience.

Truth be told, I'm not the biggest lover of the Big Mac, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit an icon that is the oldest operating McDonald's in the world. It's in a local neighbourhood, that to the people who reside in the area, is just a regular McDonald's, but to me it is a piece of history... More

Stopped in here to see one of the original McDonalds. Loved the museum and overall atmosphere. Worth a stop!! (only got a snack, so cannot rate the food.)

If you want to feel like you've Dropped a bag of concrete in your stomach go. But there are so many better chioices at the same price point with better fresh inexpedients. NOT Frozen Freeze Dried. or shipped across the country in a freezer bag with a ton of preservatives.

This sure brought back memories! The 4th ever McD's in all it's original glory! I wouldn't care if the food was terrible (it wasn't), I would come here every day (if I lived nearby). Museum's cool too.
