I go there often for happy hour only, it can get a bit loud but everyone has a good time. The ribs are the best in town.

I like their Asian Salad and Fish/Salmon Tacos. I am from Japan and picky about freshness and quality of food, especially fish. I normally avoid American food restaurants, please do not take it personally, I just like Asian food in particular Japanese food. But, this restaurant is the place I pick to have dinner with my American friends or when... More

The who's who in Pasadena on a Saturday afternoon. Good food and great chicken and tortilla soup. Nice bar to watch sports and a nice bar menu.

Calimari was good! Artichoke was horrible, mixed salad was INCREDIBLY boring, service was slow, and the salmon dish was disappointing. We spent most of our visit with empty classes and dirty dishes on our table. The staff seemed disorganized and awkward. I got my salmon unaware that it was just a piece of under seasoned salmon over cooked spinach. A... More

I have been to their location in Irvine several times. I had a late flight out of LAX and stopped here for dinner. Their draft beer options are limited but are good choices. I had an Anchor Steam. For dinner, I chose the fish tacos ($20) which were excellent. The two tacos had large pieces of grilled salmon. Ian did... More

I had the skirt steak, and it was phenomenal. My husband had the ribeye, and practically licked the plate. The apple crisp seasonal dessert was amazing as well. Friendly and attentive waitstaff. My husband actually suggested I take a photo of the food, as the presentation was quite lovely, but alas, I did not.

Love the location, the buzz, the ambience and the bar. But each time we've come we've had one dish that was a complete miss; an incorrectly cooked burger, a plate of burnt chicken tenders and an over-salted salmon. All taken care of, so top marks for service. Would love consistency, because I'd give it 4/5 stars. I'll give it one... More

.A bustling restaurant with very well prepared food. Both the steak and salmon were delicious. We substituted mashed potatoes for roast cauliflower. Excellent Only suggestion: please improve the lighting. Middle seat in booth was under a spotlight. One person should not be over lit at a table. I kept moving to left and right to avoid light but never was... More

If you in the area, a must visit. Their steaks are great. The quinoa salad for those looking for a healthy option is very good. They also have private dining available. The service at Paul Martins ia absolutely 5 star!

We were kind of disappointed when we ordered the same Happy Hour food & drinks as the patrons in the bar area and paid twice as much. The bar area was full so we had to sit in the dining room. No going back.

Description
At the heart of all great food is fresh, local, peak of the season ingredients. Paul Martin’s aims to take diners back to the farm with meat raised in a humane and wholesome way, locally sourced organic produce, the best of both wild and farmed fish, artisan cheeses and cured meats from small local purveyors.Surveys show that 78 percent of American consumers value regional and local food for home cooking. Why? For health, taste and to preserve the rural landscape. Embracing this concept, Paul Martin's believes it's their responsibility to carry these values into the restaurant kitchen.
