We have been to several different locations for Swami's in San Diego, and love this one because you eat outdoors under umbrellas. Swami's has such a varied menu, so everyone can get what they want including express drinks!!
Had drove by several times and had always seen long lines on the weekend (good sign), decided to stop in on a Tuesday morning. Friendly staff and a real relaxing breakfast on the sidewalk in the sun. Wife had ABC omelet that she reported was fantastic, I went with good old scramble eggs, bacon with a side of belgium waffle.... More
Great California cuisine with fun laid back atmosphere. The acai bowl was the hit of the meal. If you live out hear you don't need an explanation but if you are from out of town think yogurt granola parfait with acai berries and other fruit. The happy face picture at the bottom of the post should sell you on it... More

It took me a few minutes to realize that one orders the food at the counter and then takes the table. I had a tofu stir fry on a... More
Enjoy the local's beach life at Swami's. Good food, funky atmosphere, enjoyed eating breakfast on the deck. Check hours, not sure how late it's open.
Enjoyed a late lunch here, sitting outside in the sunshine. The spicy ginger wrap was delicious. As was the mango smoothie. Handy location to pop across the road and watch the sunset from the beach.

Then the staff wanders around the restaurant calling the name sometimes with difficulty due to pronunciation and street noise. We liked the outdoor seating. We figured out the... More
It's a little hidden right off the road but it's a spot not to miss. It's the perfect mix of greasy spoon vibe & healthy breakfast & lunch spot. Complete will bottomless coffee and positive people working there. This will be a go-to from now on when we visit this zone.
