Delicious food with fair portions. Priced fairly but can get expensive if you are paying for more then yourself but the desserts are big and delicious so it's worth the bit of coin you spend. Sadly no waffles or pancakes. :(

I make a stop every time I'm in the area. Love the laid-back vibe! I usually get lucky & miss the crowds.

I went there for breakfast with my kids. The coffee and lattes were really great. We had 2 scones which were tasty but a bit dry. I think we might have just ordered the wrong thing because the cakes and pies looked amazing. They also have a few more substantial breakfast items, but not a huge menu. The atmosphere of... More

We arrived at about 10AM on Sunday morning, they were very busy. We waited in line, which went fast, and ordered Greek Eggs, coffee and a blueberry muffing to share. The seating was very casual but perfect. The food came very quickly and was good, the service was friendly. Nothing fancy just a good all around experience. Having grown up... More

Gets crowded for breakfast. The place is cool and relaxed, great coffee options and sandwiches. Nice to hang on the deck or outside tables

I try to come here when I am in town and will now never come back again. Unless you are a local, don't bother. Their food is great but the device is crap. I stood there waiting for someone to even make eye contact and they helped everyone behind me then when I stood at checkout did anyone even try... More

If ever you get the chance, go to Pannikin! Get the lemon cake if they have it. Also, the iced mocha I got is the best I have ever had. This place is full of yum!

The Pannikin Cafe is in a great location along the 101 and it is a beautiful building. There is a lot of seating outside.

I can’t remember it, of course, but I’ll bet you dollars to doughnuts that my first time in the Encinitas train station was when my mother carried me in as a baby in 1936. Encinitas’s main train station, was skillfully moved from “down town,” to Leucadia, its present site – The Pannikin. Her parents moved to Encinitas before she married... More
