They've been around for a while, so you'd think they'd get better at this. Especially in a town where the boast full of fresh fish come in a couple hundred yards away. Not recommended.

My family had always returned to Cap'n Faints every time we were in Fort Bragg for the past 16 years. Sadly we retuned in November to find it closed. It will be missed.

We wanted to give Capt. Flint's a try. When we pulled into the parking area, the owner himself came out to thank us for our interest and tell us the restaurant was closed for good.

I seldom have to write a poor review but this place was bad. Ordered fish and chips and clam chowder. When you have to say the best thing you received was the fries, well...... The fish was just bland, tasteless, meh. The chowder could only be described as water down. I've much better out of a can. Even the malt... More

It is a favorite of my husbands. Fish and chips are his favorite! Sad note is that capt flints will be closing the owner is retiring. My husband was saddened. We ended up eating both lunch and dinner that day. I wish all the best to the great people that worked there. Captain flints can never be replaced in our... More

Our friends love this place but the food is fried mostly...we asked if they could grill the fish and they did...it was one of the best meals we have eaten on the wharf.... added a green salad and it was a fantastic meal...will return

We waited (with small children) while there were plenty of tables available. Once we were seated, we waited again for our server to take our order. After that we waited again, probably thirty minutes, for anything to come. Order of fish and chips arrived -- they did split it in the kitchen, which is nice; fries were good, but fish... More

Atmosphere is casual. Fish is lightly breaded and never greasy, but the shrimp wonton are my absolute favorite.

It's always great. We love everything on the menu. I've even tried... More

My husband and I ate dinner there. He ordered a burger, and I ordered the clam chowder. Both were less than mediocre. All the fish there is fried. Service was terrible. McDonald's has better food, and it's cheaper. Don't waste your time here.
