When we arrived we were cordially greeted by the Assistant General Manager Mark Fleshner and talked quietly for while watching twinkling lights out the windows. Prime rib was served and someone's face lit up pink and shiny like a child experiencing a edible heaven. The...More

Visiting again for my Wife's Birthday. Better than the Cellar, always consistent quality food along with the friendly staff. A well oiled machine because as most staff have been there tons of years. I like the Lamb shank just melts in your mouth. I think...More

The Doryman dinner is out of this world. They have cream corn. There selection of entrees is unbeatable. The Happy Hour is a great time to share with friends or family.

We called for reservations and we didn't have to wait long. The food looked amazing and tasted so delicious. I would love to go back and they also let us do a little ghost hunting.

Terrific ambience for family and friends, whether you're sitting down for fine dining or enjoying happy hour listening to a live pianist, either way it's a win!

We had good service and a great seat by the window (helps to go on a weekday at 5pm!). The food was yummy! Looking forward to another visit!

The prime rib was excellent and prepared and very select in cut. The creamed corn is the best around that I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The service was excellent and attentive. No worries if you are looking to be waited on and...More

Two of the three meals (burgers) were done to taste....the third, a salad looked like it was prepared with day old wilted lettuce....and pretty much tasted that way. Been to the Summit House many times, but this was by far my worst visit ever.

We went for dinner and found people were well dressed. But they seemed an accommodating place that would accept dress shorts.

All restaurants are different and have various prices for curtain events. I have had a private party room at the Summit House and the cost for the extra staff to cater the event was included. So, I suggest that if you have... More

For centuries the English Inn has earned a great reputation for friendly faces, cozy rooms and cheery firesides. As soon as guests come to the Inn, the charming hosts and hostesses run to greet them.

In front of a crackling fire one can partake of good hearty fare - the tankard is always full - the spit hung with roasting beefs - and a table heaped with sweets and such.

The Inn Keepers of the Summit House are inspired by this custom to create an hospitable place where friends can meet to eat, drink and delight in the views of North Orange County's countryside.

To one and all, welcome!
