I went to Catelli's to meet a group of friends. There were four of us our party. The experience started out fine. A young man took our order and answered our questions about the menu with a smile. We ordered a couple appetizers - prosciutto/cheese board and truffle fries which tasted OK. After that our waiter did not return until... More

Who would have thought you could find fine dining in a town half a block long?! The food, staff, ambiance and location were perfect. The were able to accommodate my wife's gluten allergies without having to change their menu. We had a relaxing dinner after a long day of travel, just what we needed! Their large outdoor patio with heaters... More

Stopped for a late lunch and was glad to find this gem! The service was wonderful and my husband loved his Reuben and I enjoyed the housemate ravioli with Domenica's sauce. This was home-made heaven. The pasta was light and the cheese filling was heavenly. I also enjoyed the bread with sun-dried tomato butter...and left a very happy camper. Definitely... More

Catelli's is a gorgeous place with a lovely old bar. I was so excited to dig into an authentic Italian entree after my delicious craft cocktail. However, the pasta dishes left our whole party feeling let down. The food was just average. I wish they paid as much attention to the food as they do to the decor and the... More

We ate here our first night in town and will definitely be back! Nice atmosphere and great food! We shared the meatball sliders to start and they were very good. The sauce made them! We then shared the homemade meat ravioli. Our waitress suggested getting the spicy red sauce on half and the garlic butter on the other half and... More

Hitting Geyserville after the wineries close is a crapshoot as to whether you can get a table. We got seats at the bat pretty fast and had great service despite the place being packed. The vegetarian 10 layer lasagna was great as was the chicken parmesan though the polenta it was swimming in as not my cup of tea. Not... More

Catelli's was packed (no open tables) and lively on a Sunday during a rainy, cold February evening. So us 4 sat at the bar and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Loved the spaghetti with white clam sauce, but the red clam sauce dish was way too spicy hot.(with red pepper flakes we were told) The Penne with meat sauce was fabulous, with... More

Super spot. We had two great meals at Catelli's. The pasta is made fresh daily. Highly recommend the lasagna and carbonara.

Don't let the curb appeal discourage you. Catelli's has a large charming dinning room, bar and outdoor patio. But enough about decor. Food for the gods is not an exaggeration. Burrata appetizer is as good as its presentation to the table. Menu choices were excellent for variety. We enjoyed the fabulous carbanara. Very nice wine list. One would not expect... More

This place was so awesome. Family owned with the fourth generation baby onsite. This is an upscale restaurant in a quaint, old, little town. The food was great and was served appealing. The service was more than great. We were visiting from Texas and stumbled upon this place.

Description
Catelli's is a landmark, third generation restaurant located in the heart of Sonoma County between the breathtaking hills of Dry Creek and Alexander Valley

Catelli's was originally opened in Geyserville around 1936 by Italian immigrants Santi and Virginia Catelli. The restaurant was originally known as Catelli's "The Rex" (the "king" as translated from Latin). Third generation Catellis and siblings, Domenica and Nicholas Catelli, are now co-owners. Located in Geyserville in Sonoma County, the menu highlights ingredients from local and organic farmers as well as over 100 local wines. Led by executive chef, author, and media personality, Domenica Catelli, original items such as handmade ravioli are paired with new bright creations such as "The Pasta of the Moment." Catelli's has a rich history with the local community, where generations of families have eaten, celebrated, and created memories throughout their lives.
