We stopped here for lunch, driving out of Yosemite. Coffee was great, as was our sandwich. This place is somewhat peculiar because of the entourage, but it is just great.

Their dog friendly sign caught our attention, and we wanted a light lunch so we wouldn't want to nap in Yosemite. Turkey wraps were cool, crisp and fresh and the dollop of potato salad (slightly mustardy-my favorite) and small slice of ripe watermelon hit the...More

As regular afternoon tea goers from England, we were pleasantly surprised to find Dori's Tea Cottage in Groveland. We had a wonderful afternoon tea, which was very delicious and authentic. The service was amazing. It was nice to be asked how long we wanted our...More

Dori's is one of my favorite spots here in Groveland. You can get a quick bite made with super fresh ingredients or a leisurely "tea" with your friends (or little granddaughters!). They have a nice selection of items in the shop as well. All around...More

I am not a fan of tea or tea rooms, however, that's not the point. It's just a great spot in a small town that is well worth getting lunch, or tea at if you so choose. Never would have wound up here had it...More

Really, across the street from the oldest continually operating saloon? A tea shop? But it's great. Coffee and tea are very good, and the pastries are terrific. If you have time, you can partake of a real tea shop, with doilies and tea cosies. Totally...More

After an unfortunate experience at Firefall Coffee across the street, we stopped in here. The service was friendly, the vibe was cool (It was a charming little house converted into a tea shop.) Most importantly, the iced tea was very good. It was VERY hot...More

We definitely will return to this delightful little tea house. Salads are great, pastries are home baked and the service is excellent.

Make sure to make a reservation for afternoon tea! They have a front store where you can buy sandwiches and ice cream but in the back is a proper tea. What a great experience- and yummy too!

The owners made the experience exceptional. Loved the quality of teas as well as sandwiches. The location has an ambiance of an English Tea House. The seating is comfortable and nice. It reminded me of my visit to Jane Eyre's house. I will definitely recommend...More

We invite you to step back in time to enjoy the charming atmosphere of this historical site and to partake in the English tradition of taking tea. Dori's Tea Cottage opened in May 2008 to continue this fine tea tradition and to expand on Dori's life-long love of tea. In 2012, Dori's expanded into the adjacent space that is now Dori's Cafe, which was Groveland's former U.S. Post Office. The Cafe features espresso, gelato, smoothies, fresh brewed iced teas, sandwiches, wraps, quiche, soup, salad and a variety of bakery items. We hope you enjoy your visit - whether you enjoy a quick breakfast, join us for our English tea luncheon, or "Build a Picnic" for your trip to Yosemite.
