Darling patio, with roses and plenty of shade. The soup of the day was wonderful, the iced peach tea was simply marvelous. Plenty of wonderful teas to purchase. I would definitely do lunch there again.

We stopped at Dori's on the way to Yosemite on a recommendation from the Tuolumne County tourist info center on Hwy 120 (btw, they'll give you a $5 coupon!). As I always do at tea rooms, I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. It was tasty...More

This is my second review of this tea room & cafe. Last year I gave the Café a glowing review, so much has changed in 12 months. Posted hours were until 300pm, we arrived on a Sunday afternoon after spending the day in Yosemite Park...More

Lori, We are sorry you had an unpleasant experience on your visit to Dori's last month. Please understand that Mother's Day weekend is always extremely busy for us. In addition, we were short-staffed (two people called in sick) that weekend, and I was away on...More

Plenty here to enjoy - the food is great and the teas, and also the delightful and cute and useful articles you can buy for yourself or your friends. Great place to get something out of the ordinary as a gift. The cafe is light...More

Wanted a simple lunch that was tasty and hearty, this was a great choice. My husband and I each had a bowl of beef barley which was flavorful and hit the spot, we split the turkey Swiss on rye which had lettuce, tomato and spicy...More

We visit this wonderful little tea house at least once a month. The quiche is the best item on the menu with several different varieties to choose from. The staff is very attentive and friendly and prices are very reasonable.

I can only comment on the very good Latte i got here on a few consecutive days. I can also say that the girl serving the counter was very friendly and took care of business. My kind of place.

Very good homemade quiches, sandwiches, and baked goodies. There is a separate tea room in back for more special tea menu items. Simple but very good. Pleasant staff and quiet stop in a small town on your way to Yosemite

Visited this place based on a recommendation from a tourist office (on a road trip with cousins on July 4th weekend). We ordered lunch and asked to be seated. The staff wouldn't let us sit in the tea cottage area at the back. Their reason...More

Description
We invite you to step back in time to enjoy the charming atmosphere of this historical site and to partake in the English tradition of taking tea. Dori's Tea Cottage opened in May 2008 to continue this fine tea tradition and to expand on Dori's life-long love of tea. In 2012, Dori's expanded into the adjacent space that is now Dori's Cafe, which was Groveland's former U.S. Post Office. The Cafe features espresso, gelato, smoothies, fresh brewed iced teas, sandwiches, wraps, quiche, soup, salad and a variety of bakery items. We hope you enjoy your visit - whether you enjoy a quick breakfast, join us for our English tea luncheon, or "Build a Picnic" for your trip to Yosemite.
