The one thing you always do when you come to Black Bear diner is, bring an empty stomach. Their food is outstanding. Portions are huge! Save room for pie

My sister and niece love this place. I thought it was just an off brand Denny's. Breakfast all day, dinners after 5, burgers and sandwiches as well. Okay food, but nothing o go out of my way to get.

The food was impressively good. For local diner food I though it would just be greasy crap lol no not in the least. My husband had the club and it was amazing (I may have had a few bites). I had the honey mustard sandwich and it was good probably not as good as the club. Then my husband ordered... More

My husband & I during a visit with our Son & DIL had a great lunch here. I especially liked the Tri-Tip sandwich with everything on it. The pancakes were very flavorable. The service was very good. We will certainly return the next time we are in Hanford.

We eat here about 4-6xs a year. I've never had a complaint since they've opened. Always clean, great atmosphere, comfy booths (&plenty of them) along with large delicious portions keep us coming back for more!! I'm love their hot Turkey sandwich but on a "house biscuit" instead of the menu bread. They have amazing fresh squeezed orange juice (don't get... More

Excellent for breakfast. The Grizz will stuff you. Ask for the spicy sausage patty instead of the links. Best pancakes in town, hands down.

Great place for old fashion diner food. Large servings of biscuits and gravy, hot sandwiches and burgers/fries. Always good and friendly service. Chain is growing up and down the state.

We hoped for a nice breakfast as we visited Hanford for the day, a couple of days after Christmas. What we got was a surly, young hostess and a non-existent waitress. Someone asked for our beverage order and disappeared for 20 minutes. We walked out after nobody appeared with coffee or water.

Our son had never been to a Black Bear, so while we were visiting near his base, we took his family to this Black Bear. He was impressed with the portion sizes of the meals as well as the great taste to the old time "comfort food". The grandkids enjoyed their grilled cheese sandwiches, we enjoyed the rib eye steak,...
