Mediterranean and yummy! This tiny place is a favorite when we are in La Jolla. Great to eat under an umbrella or take home. Lots of options, but favorite is a marinated chicken kabob plate with salad and delicious green rice.

This is my go-to restaurant for baba ghanoush. The food at this take out or sit down restaurant is very good.

I go every visit. This place has been around 20+ years and I think it's really good. I usually get things to go and enjoy it on the beach but they do have s small outdoor dining area that is pet friendly. The chicken kabobs are great with the herbed rice.

This little shop is a small gem. Mediterranean-style cooking with several truly tasty vegan options. The tabbouleh is the best ever...also good hummus, falafels and tahini. They even serve Turkish coffee - excellent. There are a few cozy indoor tables or ample outdoor seating. Perfect lunch stop.

Five for dinner last week. You basically order at the counter and then either take out or find a place to sit outdoors. Two of our group enjoyed the Mediterranean flavors, the others did not...so it was a bit awkward. Nothing special. Food is decent but certainly not outstanding.

Although a fun place to pick up a good meal this place has deteriorated into a tasteless dive with poor quality food and and an uncaring staff. My wrap was dry and tasteless. I was shocked at a bland sauce, old cucumbers with tough lamb. The only plus was the size of the portion, which I did not finish. There... More

We stopped in here after a heavy-duty morning of thrift shopping in La Jolla. Lots of variety in the menu allowed everyone to have something they liked. I had a wahoo skewer and a veggie skewer. Delicious. Both were cooked after I ordered them and arrived quickly. We had a pleasant, shady table outside and enjoyed the terrific La Jolla... More

The grilled salmon here is out of this world. They cook it right over the open flame and they use farm caught salmon. The result is the best grilled salmon I have had anywhere. Amazing healthy food in this place and you can't go wrong.

Fresh, always perfect and great owner and staff. If you want simple Mediterranean food, this is the place. An easy get in and out place with a wonderful patio to sit and eat. Truly a La Jolla gem.

Four of us enjoyed our lunch at the Marketplace Grill, which is adjacent to several other restaurants. Each of had something different, but all the choices pleased our palates without making an inordinate dent in our wallets. The service is friendly and prompt.

Once upon a time within the royal palaces of ancient Persia, chefs invented tantalizing dishes. These delightful recipes tickled the royal palates.
We borrowed a little ancient wisdom and added our own unique southwestern mesquite to middle eastern invention. The result is mouth-watering.
Imagine fresh and natural marinades designed to compliment our gourmet meats, seafood and vegetables, simmered over mesquite coals dripping with flavor. We think you'll agree this experience is best described as "The Thrill of the Grille!"
