Let's see, La Jolla Cove, San Diego. Outside seating, eclectic menu, top flight service. I can't think, this side of the Mediterranean coast. A better place to experience fine food combined with a awesome location, location, location.

I took a friend there who is looking at USD for college. I figured it's good to know all the local places with great views and great food. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset and delicious dinner. My son enjoyed a very generous serving of delicious grilled fish tacos (delicious and large pieces of grilled fish), our guest enjoyed a hearty... More

We came here for breakfast and did not have to wait long to sit on the patio overlooking the cove. Heaters were everywhere so we didn't feel chilly. Service was great and fast. Lots of wonderful menu options and good price range. I had an omelette with spinach and goat cheese and was able to substitute fruit for the potatoes.

This is a charming spot! Although "known for" brunch, we had a wonderful dinner. The location has a beautiful view of La Jolla cove. We were a little concerned that our dining experience would be lessened from the smell of the sea lions, however it's far enough away that we didn't smell the seals and sea lions at all. Dinner... I hear the food is good, but that doesn't help if you can't find the restaurant and can't find parking. Maybe during the week it would work, but good luck finding parking down by the cove on a weekend.

We happened across this restaurant and stopped for a late lunch. It is immensely popular for good reason. We ate corned beef, salmon and pulled pork. They were all absolutely amazing. Beautifully fresh and well prepared. Highly recommended.

We happened upon Brockton Villa for lunch and were not disappointed. The restaurant has outdoor as well as indoor seating and spectacular views of the ocean. The wait staff were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the turkey club!

Went for a 21st birthday brunch with a cocktail waterside. Got all those things, but in a very meh way. La Jolla is gorgeous, of course, but this spot is best enjoyed from the sidewalk and only for a few minutes. The stench from the seagulls and seals is literally over powering. Makes al fresco dining uncomfortable. Our food arrived... More

Brockton Villa is a historic landmark and has amazing views of La Jolla Cove. For that reason alone, it is worth visiting. The food, on the other hand, is average. I had the fish tacos and they were underwhelming.

Made reservations for family of four. Sat on the inside with sunset views as well as views of sea lions frolicking in the surf. Had the 3 courses for $30 - Clam chowder was a delicious starter. So good, even our kiddos (age 8) asked for a cup of their own. Kiddos ordered mini burgers and cheese pizza. No complaints.... More
