This is a local coffee house, that serves home-made pastries, soups and salads. the vegan granola bar is great, especially with their cappuccino. Friendly folks.

Smooth Mexican chocolate latte and a game of chess. The atmosphere is laid back and casual. The entire place smells like fresh roasted coffee ☕️ The location is great for a warm break after a winter walk on the beach or time at the tide pools.

Simple quirky establishment serving good coffee & more. Enjoy the unusual interior. Old, tatty but that just adds to the charm.

Been here a few times and the coffee has been been either very good or very poor; depending on who makes it Today was grim. Almost no foam, and cold. Basically a cold Americano. Cakes are good though...

came in for some decaf iced tea after a long day of walking around and hiking in la jolla. I had an herbal decaf iced tea which was great. my boyfriend had the decaf latte which he liked. the place was quiet and had inoffensive music playing. it was a nice contrast to the otherwise trendy and touristy areas nearby... Iconic spot with a awesome feel. I've been going here for well over 20 years getting the same drink, Keith Richard. This drink is strong and tasty. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star was parking.

What a great spot for coffee and a good breakfast. The lox plate is wonderful. Fun to hang out and watch the locals on a Sunday morning before hitting the farmer's market up the street

It was a nice sunny day so we sat outside. You have to line up and order your food before or after you've secured a table. It's not a big cafe but it's definitely cosy and has character. The coffee is good and we were here for brunch. You can also get refills with the coffee. The orange juice is... More

Good mocha. If they would have been a little more informative they would have received a 5. If you know exactly what you want you'll probably be ok.
