I do very much like the potato salad. The corn on the cob is great when it isn't over-cooked. The 3 types of rib options are quite good. The sliced beef tastes like precooked Sysco junk and the chicken while not smokey is moist. I return now and then because it once was quite good and had really good BBQ... More

This place has good barbecue. The ribs Various varieties) are the thing to get here. I also enjoy the sliced beef sandwich. The atmosphere is welcoming. The servers aim to please. They serve good potato salad.

My husband loves BBQ. I tasted his ribs and beef and it was very good. I am not much of a BBQ fan so I ordered a salad with grilled chicken. It was excellent. Came with corn off the cob. I could see that it had been sliced off the cob, not just frozen corn. Good beer selection. We ate... More

The burger was good, the beer was good, the atmosphere OK. The burger was served on paper in a plastic basket; the knife and fork were basically useless...

My family went here on a recommendation from a friend, and I was really surprised how terrible our experience turned out to be. The ribs were under cooked and chewy. Service was ordinary. I honestly have no desire to go back. I am surprised at all the good reviews, especially ones that describe the "perfect atmosphere." We sat outside and... More

This is a nice family owned and operated restaurant. My friends and I love the Barbecue, but I find myself ordering the hamburger and fries which I believe to be one of the best in La Mesa. The selection of craft beers are always good too.

Restaurant has a variety of food available for very good prices. But I highly recommend the Beef BBQ Ribs-that is when you can order them, they are only offered on certain days but they sell quick. To top the food off the Beer on tap options that are available are well worth the dinning in! Atmosphere is very friendly, efficient... More

For a small restaurant, the variety and quality of the craft beer that they have on tap is excellent. We enjoyed nine craft brews that we had not had, as well as a rack of ribs. The ribs were excellent. Our waitress was just fantastic, very knowledgable about the different craft beer, and provided excellent service. As for romance and... More

Amazing beer selection all very reasonably priced. Smaller pours are available for those who prefer to try many brews. The food is really good with friendly prices. Servers are attentive and nice. Public transportation from San Diego close by and hotels an easy walk.
