The Brigantine is one of our favorite Restaurants in San Diego. You can’t go wrong with their Fish Tacos! Their Spinach and Caesar Salads are great! In fact we have never had anything there we didn’t enjoy. Service is great. Beautiful outdoor dining and lovely...More

I recently enjoyed a great meal here for the first time, as it was a luncheon after my aunts funeral. The wait staff, the hostess, the food, the atmosphere was just terrific. I can see why she ate here often with her adult children, The...More

Brig has revamped itself everyone!!!! This was the go to place in the late 1990’s then sort of got old. Don’t get me wrong the swordfish is always -to die for- but the ambiance was old and stuffy and menu unchanged until the REFRESH! Worth...More

The food and the atmosphere is always great. I just suggest you pay with a credit card so that the one questionable waitperson won't have a chance to give herself an extra tip at your expense.

I have eaten there several times over the years. It has always been satisfying. Only down part is depending on where you sit and time of day it can be too dark making it hard to read the menu.

The Brigantine serves delicious food and maintains an ambiance the folks will love. This restaurant has an old-world feel in today's modern society that the generation of grandparents feels comfortable in.

Went to meet friends for Happy Hour at the Brig. We usually go on Taco Tuesdays, which is a great deal. The regular HH prices are decent, with a special menu and discounted drinks. The bonus this time was - Happy Hour 3:30 - close!...More

Having dinner here was everything I had hoped for, and nothing was left out. We met early for drinks, sat out on the deck, were served efficiently and friendly, and when it was time to eat we were all moved inside to a table that...More

If The "Brig" were in our home town, we would be regulars. Our cousin (a local) loves this place, and brings us each time we visit La Mesa. Parking is always available, and the location is just too cool for school. Inside is as upscale...More
