This restaurant has a great reputation as a fining dining experience. The inside "formal" dining area is not very big but has an intimate feel. It has a good size outdoor patio. After enjoying a cocktail, we began our meal by both ordering the French onion soup, it was very delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the Scottish salmon on... More

Let me just say , best place for dinner in La Quinta. It can get crowded and noisy in the bar area, but it's worth it. Waitresses can get busy, but they are polite and patient. Food was good. Our friends are regulars there.

Six of us had dinner here on January 7th for a friend's Birthday. The ambiance and food is excellent. The live musician was great, and played the guitar beautifully. The food was excellent. Between us we ordered salmon, filet, osso busco, NY steak and filet of sole. All were excellent. I had the onion soup as an appetizer and it... More

I had a delicious chicken dish and my husband had the prime rib. The food was a little pricey but good. We would consider coming back back for a special occasion but not on an everyday regular type visit

We were very excited about dining here as the pictures look amazing. We were not disappointed, it is magical looking on the patio. We had a nice table and there was a gentleman playing music which was a lovely touch. We had the Tomato Bisque which was outstanding, and the Lavender Seasonal Salad which was bland in taste. I ordered... More

Everyone raves about Lavender so we decided to try it on a recent trip to the desert. We sat on the patio as it was a fairly warm night under the heat lamps and it was quite comfortable, I didn't get cold once! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the patio lights and lavender napkins in the wine glasses are... More

We had Christmas dinner here with family - were 10 of us, and so pleasantly surprised that service and food both wonderful on a holiday (not always the case). Was a prixe fixe dinner with 5-6 selections and good variety...I think our group tried them all and no one was disappointed. Food was served hot and service was attentive and... More

We chose this place because we were with our octogenarian parents and we needed a place that is accessible and is not super loud. The Lavender Bistro had a reservation open on Christmas Eve and fit the bill. Not all of the reviews here were favorable and I now understand why. We were offered a table in a quiet room... More

This restaurant offers a very pleasant Happy Hour with musical accompaniment that manages to maintain an intimate yet comfortable vibe. The food is a typical Happy Hour menu for this type of better casual desert eatery. Diners are given choices of appetizers, salads, and light entree dishes, as well as mixed drinks and house wines. Of course, a diner may... More

Patio dining is the best in the valley. Plenty of heaters for those cool nights and you can't beat the ambiance outside with lights in the trees and musician. Consistently good food and service. Fries often come out lukewarm, but are readily replaced with hot ones. Best tuna around!
