Paradise Cove has been there for decades, for good reason, and is a favorite restaurant of ours. It's on the opposite side of the lake from Kernville, but well worth the drive. The dining room overlooks Isabella Lake (including an actual cove, when the water is high enough), with great views. They serve prime rib on Friday and Saturday nights,... More

they only serve prime rib fri/sat nights and you need to be there when they open as it is limited to the first few parties ordering that item....includes salad and relish dish and big potato plus a veggie. a desert and beverage are also included....

Great view! (Especially now that there's a view of the lake). Tends to need fixing up inside, but the food is always good---especially the prime rib. The common complaint is the salad dressing that automatically comes on the abundant iceberg lettuce salad, with no offered choice of one'S favorite dressing. It'S not overpriced either.

The steaks were some of the best we've ever had, and we've had some really great steaks! Salad, sides and dessert are included in the meal price which was nice because it is a little on the pricey side.

Excellent food and great service. If you are looking for a great place to eat and stay choose Paradise Cove. Locally owned and operated for over 50 years! One of the best views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Enjoy!

This restaurant has been around for a long time, and is an institution in the Kern River Valley. The restaurant has a wonderful view of the lake and is a wonderful place to just enjoy the scenery. They have stepped up their game of late.....having Harris Ranch beef, and an updated wine list. The restaurant has been updated (new windows... More

Limited nightly seating , this staple of the valley always pleases. Crudite and a cocktail will start off the meal. Fish, Fowl and Beef are on h the menu here all entrees are complimented by veggies, baked potatoe or twice baked potatoe, cheese toast and dessert.

Great service and food. Lovely view even with the drought! Excited to see the upgrades you are working on for the dining room.
