The owners greeted us immediately and then instantly the enjoyment began! From all local wines, we chose a Roederer sparkling wine, then moved to two lovely sauvignon blancs to go with fried anchovies (YUMMY) and the TOWER. You can't go wrong in this little, intimate, all fish restaurant!

Can I just say how quaint this little restaurant is - yet the service and the food were so amazing that we came here for lunch on one day and back for dinner the next day! We enjoyed each dish so much - carefully prepared and with consistent flavors. The local options were especially delish, we would absolutely come back... More

Tiny 20 seater, but good and the service lived up to the promise. Just really tasty, beautiful local fare. Friendly staff, no rush. Great local wine pairings with every dish. Do your self a favour/flavor.

Really enjoyed our evening. Great locally sourced fish, bought fresh on the day. All food with wine suggestions from California. Friendly owners with great service. Restaurant is cosy and nice atmosphere, right on the coast where we watched the sunset. Glad we made a reservation for fri night as was busy.

My husband and I had a romantic dinner here and the ambience was very nice. The service was very good and the wait staff was very informative and friendly. The food was just so-so. I had the sole and it was tender, but not a lot of flavor. The risotto was good and the caramelized onions were the best part.... More

So sorry that you weren't excited about your dish. The crew aims for 100% consistency and full of flavor. I wish we had known your feedback at the time, perhaps we could have made it better for you. The feedback is very good almost all the time for those dishes so we want to know when someone is not satisfied.... More

We have had several meals at Wild Fish, and have always had a good experience. The location (next to a gas station) might be off-putting at first - and parking spots are at a premium - but once inside one forgets all about that. The entrées are varied, seasonal and imaginative. The servers know where the fish was landed, and... More

Don't let the petite size of this charmer fool you: inside there are big, beautiful flavors coaxed lovingly from the freshest fish and vegetables. I cannot emphasize enough how impressive it is to eat a meal created by people who have such respect for their ingredients. You know you're in the presence of greatness when an artfully crafted salad can... More

First of all..........this was the very best seafood dinner I have ever had! I grew up on the East Coast and since my father went lobstering for a hobby, we were never without a great lobster dinner. That being said, my shellfish boil at Wild Fish beat all. The shellfish was cooked to perfection and the broth was to die... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Wild Fish on a rainy night in Mendocino. It is a small and charming restaurant that serves only fish as well as locally foraged food. (Mushrooms the night we were there.) The service is pleasant and discreet. Our dinners were excellent.

This place is just the best. Small, rotated menu very good food that tastes great. Make a reservation or you won't get in. Romantic, good wine list, deserts are to die for some ocean views the place is small all seats are good. Fish and sea food are great but all the food served was the best it could be.... More
