Authentic German breakfast options offered. We had the Pfankuchen and weisswurst with the runner's omelette. It was all delicious! It was busy the whole time, so it must be the spot for locals!

An excellent place for a European breakfast ... strong coffee, great pastries and breads, and a fantastic breakfast selection. I also come here to purchase pretzels for special occasions.

We were a little disappointed in the selection, we were expecting more. We did have a poppy seed danish, good.Several of the choices had poppy seeds. We were there for breakfast.

Esther's is NOT pretentious. Just good German good at very reasonable prices. Son 1 had the pork shank- it was huge and very tender. Son 2 and I both had the beef roulade - a slice of roast beef rolled around pickles, mustard and other goodies, and served with mashed potatoes and veggies. Wife had the cheese spaetzel. Also good... I have been going to Esther's for many years. I usually go for breakfast. Weekends can be busy and parking is always a challenge. You can find parking in the back off San Antonio. The menu is simple, not so many choices that you have to keep flpping through pages! The pastries are very appealing but I usually go for... More

Food is served to you in a small cafe setting very authentic and genuine. I was there with a friend this morning and... More

Esther's isn't just a bakery. It actually serves hot foods with a sit-down setting. Prices are very reasonable. There aren't a lot of parking spots in the front, but you will find more spots in the back.

Stay and drink great coffee with delicious pastries and cakes. They also offer nice selection of German breakfasts, lunch and dinner...still with a healthy selection of breads. Great stollen at Christmastime.
