Food was outstanding and the service was the best we had in LA, hard to find, but they do not need a huge sign, place was packed. Better have reservation or you won't get in.

Nobu is one of those places that you want to go over & over again. The cuisine is exquisite, even for people who is not into raw food or seafood. The Yofro dessert really tops of our senses, Great ambience. Highly recommended. We went on a business dinner & client was very well surprised.

The food was great and the waiters were wonderful at recommending dishes but the atmosphere in there was a bit flat. As someone who usually goes to Nobu in London I was surprised how different it was. A good place but have been told Nobu Malibu is better so may go there next time instead.

I enjoyed a nice meal with a friend on Sunday evening. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and happy to recommend dishes, remembering that my friend was allergic to dairy each time after we told him at the start - my friend ate the squid "pasta" which was pretty impressive and I enjoyed the yellowtail jalepeno, ribeye crispy onions and Wagyu... Being a great fan of the Japanese cuisine, I am, of course, a Nobu-addict. Never been to this location though, which was a wonderful experience. However, the Malibu location is a more special dining experience than this one. But wherever you go: The Black Cod is a must-eat.

Love the food! The interior is not what you expect from a Nobu restaurant. To bright and not pivate enough.

We were brought to this place for dinner as a group of around 60 people with no expectations whatsoever and most of the group do not even know who or what Nobu is. I was happy in their innocence and then the food just kept coming one after the other. The Toro sushi, fillets of snapper, crab tempura, the amazing... More

The best part of this visit was the people watching. Go late like after 8:30-9 and it's even better. If you want to see locals, here's your spot. The food is eh. It's just sushi and it's plain - they call it traditional but it's boring. Drinks were good but overall the food was snoozeville. They say Nobu Malibu is... More

I've always loved going to Nobu when in town for business trips, and frequently take clients there for dinner. It's consistently delicious and has excellent service. I recently brought my mother there who loves uni, and the chef offered to create a special Uni pasta dish for her. We were very impressed by how friendly and attentive they were. Great... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
