This place is like a hipster supersized bleached viennese coffee house, in a good way somehow. It's a truly airy and exciting space with something for everyone on the menu (several separate cooking stations plus take out plus patisserie). Its BYOB with no corkage on...More

Trip Advisor rating was bang on. The place was hoping with a great energy buzzing throughout the place. Glad we went and will go back the next visit to LA!

Bottega Louie is on the ground floor of The Brockman Building, built in 1912. Much of the Beaux-Arts style architecture is still very visual making for a very special dining experience. Food is lovely, service is friendly and the confectionery is out of this world.

Maybe we came on an off day because our meal was good but not amazing or great like many reviews have stated. There was three of us for lunch on a Thursday, no wait at 12:00 which was nice and we really liked the decor...More

There are a ton of excellent restaurants to visit in DTL, this is not one of them. For starters, they do not take reservations and the hostess quoted wait times are very inaccurate. We heard a lot of great reviews about this place and decided...More

Great place too many choices for just one visit. I must go back! Look forward to trying more than dessert next time.

I don't get it. My linguini was over cooked and very salty. The main flavour should have been mushrooms, but it was largely absent. My brother was similarly unimpressed with his octopus and, like me, wondered if they were using the best ingredients. The restaurant...More

After hours of random sightseeing and walking around, we stumbled upon this place (bakery only!) and instantly fell in love. I love sweets, in all shapes and forms (almost!) and this place does not disappoint. The hardest decision I had was picking an item to...More

Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering
buildings, bustling streets, and industrial
warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of
cultures here with a growing influx of business
professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of
Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts,
bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly.
