Hands down, best sandwiches in L.A. - if not anywhere. You'll never look at these "wanna be" sandwich makers the same: SubYUCK (aka Subway - hmmm, is that where they get their meat from!? I've always wondered this. Lol!), Jersey Mike's (who is this 'guy' anyway!? Average. Nothing special here - at all), Quiznos (are they still even around!? If... More

Call in your order or you'll be waiting on a long line if it's lunch time. They make sandwiches "until we run out of bread" each day, but you're probably good up to mid afternoon. The ingredients are so fresh and of such good quality. Damn it, why am I not eating one right now?

I love the sandwiches and they have an excellent wine selection and the staff knows their wine. They are the best sandwiches in LA. Call ahead and order over the phone--the wait for walk ins can be long.

This unassuming little store is a treasure trove of less well known wine labels offering great quality at low prices. High end expensive wines also available but you can find really good tasting wines at almost any price. Other delicacies also available and great sandwiches at lunchtime, but I'm there for the wine!

The most knowledgable staff in the area. Very good selection of wines -- small by superstore standards, but well-curated. A little on the pricey side

This place has delicious sandwiches, and even better potato salad. I can't say enough about their melt in your mouth potato salad. It's inexpensive and the best I've had in LA. After walking through the sandwich line make your way past a very well stocked and very reasonably priced assortment of wine and spirits. Pick up some bitters and cherries... More

Wow! A very affordable eating option for anyone in LA looking for a high quality and tasty vegetarian or meat sandwich. You can not go wrong with any of the choices. Grab one if you can, but be aware that they stop taking orders after 5:00 p.m.

This quaint little neighborhood wine and cheese store FEEDS many of the folks on the Paramount Lot. There sandwiches are out of this world! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about wine and beer and cheese and is warm and charming. They will help you throw a good party OR just give you recommendations for a bottle of wine and some...
