Why 2/5 if horrible? Because the hotate nigiri was quite good. Everything else, however, was junk. It took 40 mins to get my order and, to add insult to injury, they had run out of some of the times I ordered. One would think the...More

Very good variety of tasty Japanese food at this restaurant conveniently located at Downtown's LA LIVE location. By al means try their spicy edamame appetizer and definitely try taste their lobster dynamite dish. It is deliciously superb!

I've been there twice during a congress. Quick lunch, friendly waiters but the girls at reception weren't so kind. The food is good even if the quantity is scarce. Very clean.

One would think that a ”chic” Japanese restaurant jam packed on a Friday night in downtown LA live would deliver great tempura and sushi, reasonable ambience, and wine that reached the table before the entrees were fully consumed. One would be wrong. The shrimp tempura...More

24 of us had the most amazing time and the sushi was yummy for everyone. They had so many options and the food flavors just burst in your mouth and sometimes lingered on after. A great place

Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering
buildings, bustling streets, and industrial
warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of
cultures here with a growing influx of business
professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of
Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts,
bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly.
