Quaint little cafe in Griffith Park. Avocado sandwich went down a treat before we hiked up to the Observatory! Lovely benches in or out of sun.

My son and I ate here for lunch after a morning hike in Griffith park, so we were tired and hungry! We originally planned to visit and eat lunch at the Griffith Observatory but the parking lots were full and street parking was crazy so we chose this cafe just down the road instead. We both ordered sandwiches, pie, and... More

We took an Uber from our hostel up to the Trails Cafe (just inside Griffith Park) and then took a hike up to the Observatory early in the morning. By the time we got back to The Trails,, the park was just beginning to get busy (8:30am). We were dying for a coffee, so stopped and ordered coffee, a cappucino,... More

I enjoy coming here when friends are in town visiting. The venue is unique and the food is really good. It can get crowded so call ahead of time.

Trails cafe is a fun spot in Griffith Park. It feels as if you have escaped the mad rush of LA. You can enjoy the food, a cuppa, snacks, and the service is quite good. The food isn't something to die for but the ambiance is what makes the visit here worth your while.

Trails Cafe is a charming, fun and delicious spot to hit in Awesome Griffith Park. It used to be an old hot dog stand that was re-opened 10 years (?) back by some more gourmet minded folks. You can sit at the picnic tables or on some bales of hay and eat your patties, sandwiches, slice of pie or snakedog!... More

This cafe is the perfect antidote to the rushed life of LA. At the beginning/end of the Ferndell trail - a teeny tiny trail that is a soothing little trail perfect for little kids to explore, the cafe is a good resting/starting point to have a cup of coffee, enjoy a snack on the picnic tables... service is friendly. i... They serve sandwiches, baked goods, and coffee/beverages. Presentation and service were grade-school cafeteria quality. Food was barely-edible and a poor value. Bring your own in a brown paper bag, like you did on school field trips; you'll be much more satisfied.

I live nearby and when a friend suggested meeting here for coffee, I was surprised the place even existed. It's a quaint cabin type place in a nature setting with lots of great ambiance. Parking is a little tricky but it was a weekend. Perhaps during the week there are less people. All in all a fine coffee shop in... More
