Nice place with great selection of beer and wine. That was unexpected surprise: the Larry's burger was absolutely amazing!

Four of us stopped in for lunch at Larry's very recently. We ordered a variety of dishes ranging from a burger to chicken pitas and enjoyed all of them. This was not fancy food; rather, it was simply good, hearty faire that fit the need for a quick and tasty lunch.

We stopped by for lunch when visiting Venice Beach. The place is kind of dumpy, but the burgers were about the best we had on our entire trip. Excellent, though expensive. The bill was $43 for 2 burgers and 2 coke's - you don't even get fries or any sides with the burger. However, it was a very good burger.... More

Looked questionable and the prices were a bit higher than we were originally looking for but it was worth it. Good food, healthy drinks. I got the skirt steak. It is good deconstructed but if you eat it with a little bit of everything in a bite, its amazing.

My finance and our friends ate here at least 3 times while staying on Venice Beach . We loved it . Great food ! One bad host the first time which nearly made us leave but then we read the trip advisor reviews and stayed . Will definitely visit again. Burgers amazing !

Food was delicous (we took Larrys Burger's and Shrimp Ragu, both were excellent choises - first one tasted also to our teenager). Kitchen served meals fast and atmosphere was nice.

Bohemia in California, walk down the broad walk and enjoy the sights and sounds, down from the skatepark, Larry's is a little gem. Happy hour has drinks and food specials worth a trip before sundown. Never had Brussels and cheese pizza, wheel worth a try. Good beer selection and definitely worth a stop for chilling before the sun goes down.

Thank Pippa B

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
