Great service and great food. Had the chicken burger and the chilled shrimps are awesome too. Sat by the bar but also other seating. Not too big a place but nice buzz to the place.

Four of us had dinner here after a 45 minute Uber ride from an LAX hotel and it was well worth the trip. SofaG is a small, cozy place with unusual cocktails and really fine seafood. We had the raw hamachi nicely finished with crisp radishes; the octopus salad was a winner and so was the citrus and fennel salad.... More

This small and local "sea food joint" is innovative, fun, colorful. There are unusual combinations of foods that reflect local and seasonal produce paired with fresh fresh sea food. Excellent drinks that are well balanced and again innovative.

Inventive riff in a seafood restaurant, complete with nautilus decor (photos, stuffed marlin, wood paneling). The dishes are creative and fantastic. We had the hamachi and the poke from the raw bar. Then a deliciously rich shrimp toast and a linguini with claims and bread crumbs. We then had an awesome ham with hush puppies and butter (a great way... More

Read about this restaurant in Bon Appetit and made a reservation for a late lunch. We were not disappointed. Service is not rushed and we enjoyed a wonderful, leisurely lunch. The chicken sandwich and banana bread were highlights. The Cider Cup cocktail was outstanding. Cool place for lunch.

This place does amazing food. Such a great mix of small bites and larger share plates. Really clever and different culinary treats but not so wild that it wasn't good. The fried shrimp sandwich was lovely. The Sprouts were amazing. The Trout almondine was so delicious. We were all very impressed :)

Just got back to my hotel from this place. The food was really good but the menu was limited. No worries as each of the dishes were very yummy. Great attentive service in a dimly lit setting, this ultra hip restaurant is sure to please the more discerning pallet. Lastly, definitely save room for the Italian hamburger- an incredible dessert!
